I love Eddie Bauer but sad that his store or outlet is now closed. I was there last weekend to return an item I bought online but it was closed. I visit the outlet and they confirmed is was closed permanently.

I loved this place, but when went on Saturday(Feb 2013) they had closed it down. Nice job Eddie Bauer. I’ve been shopping there for 10 years and I am a member of your Friends and Family program and you don’t even bother to tell me. There was just a sign to tell me to drive a an hour to get to the nearest store. I don’t think so. East Bay has lost a wonderful little store.

Mom and I love Eddie Bauer, we frequent this outlet store a lot since this is the closest one to our home. I recommend becoming an Eddie Bauer’s Friends member. It doesn’t cost you anything, but it’ll accumulate points when you make a purchase, and they’ll send you coupons and discounts and notify you of sale events, which is great when you are trying to save even more money. Their clothes are very comfortable, and mom love buying pants here. I personally love visiting because of their cool little gadgets and all sorts of jackets. The rain jacket I purchased a few months ago was of excellent quality, and didn’t show wear and tear even though I’ve treated it like trash, stuffing it in any spot I can find in my over-packed bag.

To begin with, this is a very good outlet store. Being Eddie Bauer, is that much sweeter. The fact that they are an outlet store, does not mean the merchandise is a cheaper watered down version of what they normally sell. I think this outlet has weekly deals along with their normal discounts. Everything is high quality, durable, well fitting, and comfortable. The«real world» clothing for every day and for outdoors is well designed, very reliable and will stand up to anything. I also like, their gear and gadgets. I, along with friends and family, have never had any complaints. Their service is friendly and attentive, but not annoying. I recommend becoming an Eddie Bauer’s Friends member. You get«points» and they send you all sorts of discounts and certificates. Eddie Bauer is always on the top of my «go to» list.

This place is still great for outdoorsy clothes. My mom likes this place too. She will regularly look for SPF based long sleeved shirts. They always seem to have a great sale. I got a purple parka for $ 122.not bad. It looks great and covers my back which will come in handy for the rainy season.

My husband has a nice butt. He detests bootcut jeans, low rise jeans, and skinny jeans. Eddie Bauer still has classic relaxed, straight jeans. I like the backpacks and gadgets. I got a good fannypack for $ 7. The service was great, Donnie was helpful in getting the right sizes. Thanks EB for making jeans the mister can move in, with a comfy amount of wiggle room.

I was surprised to see the eddie bauer store still opened as i assumed they were headed for bankruptcy earlier in the year. tee shirts were the sales item of the week. so i picked a black cotton one for old times sakes(should eddie not make it). turns out the 5.99(regular 12.99) is quite the bargain. the gap has their brand(mixed materials) at 14.99 and only offering 20% off. i was perusing some tee shirts when the sales associate told me the men’s tees were on the other table. mucho gracias!

You want clothes that last? And that don’t go out of fashion? Eddie Bauer is your man. Sure, it’s not as hip as it once was, 1.5 decades ago. But they have their hipster clothes now and then(like the wrinkle-proof lime and lavender dress shirts I got here for super cheap, $ 20 ea.), and in particular they have a tendency to end up here, since it’s the outlet. Also, Eddie Bauer outerwear, particularly fleeces(all PolarTec 100, 200, 300 pill), are very sturdy, and you can get them here for much cheaper than the retail Eddie Bauer store, and definitely cheaper than North Face. Just pick your times carefully, like when they are about to go on the major sale(because the half-off and more sales lead to lots of their stock going out), and you can snag some great deals. I have Eddie Bauer stuff I bought 8 years ago and it still looks like new. Seriously.

Always have good deals on their 30−70% off racks. Clothes are on the frumpy side and great for active and camping wear. Their non sale clothes is close to retail prices. I love the camping accessories.

I wouldn’t call this place a true outlet store. It’s mostly like regular Eddie Bauer store in an ‘outlet’ shopping center. The rating is based on how much I like Eddie Bauer clothes, accessories, and trinkets(ie collapsible shot glass, water bottles, back packs, etc).
