El Rinconcito Chilango

It’s a alright shop, I go here when I don’t want to go to far for Mexican food and you can say it gets the job done. I kinda feel like their food is over priced compared to the portion of food they serve you.

I love this place they have some of the best tacos around and burritos. they also have a cute waitress.

I gave this place a try and it disappointed me. I ordered a cubana torta and all I got were bunch of ingredients together but none of them tasted great. BTW, the Torta was 13 dlls, how can that be? I have tried places with really good Cuban tortas for a fraction of the price!

BEST Bistek Ranchero ever! I will definitely be returning. Prices are decent for the size of the meals.

This was the worst place because of the extreemly poor service. I went in just for a side of beans to take home and I waited over 10 minutes. When I finally went up to ask what the wait was they said «there are other people before you in line, we cant serve you until they have been served». This is absolutely absurd to me because scooping beans into a container takes a fraction of the time that it would take to make a burrito or any other dish. And when I complained about it they still tried to justify it. Im sorry but I will never go here again and I have encouraged all of my family and friend already to stop coming here only because the staff is so unqualified.

Came here for lunch my burrito was good the guy at the counter was nice, had some horchata it was fresh ! A lol pricey my Whole order was 10.40 for a burrito and large horchata,

Food was okay. Nothing really stood out I had a wet burrito and my friend had nachos neither had great flavor that stood out just okay I guess that best thing you can say was it was eatable. Gave it 3 stars for customer service food deserves 2

Simply put… bland food!!! Complimentary salsa literally tasted like water. Ordered enchilada platter and chile relleno platter. My husband and I couldn’t even choke down our rice because it was bland yet had a chemical taste to it. Beans needed LOTS of salt. Unbelievably. the enchiladas had no flavor. The chile relleno had one flavor… tasted like a tin can.
The restaurant was not clean.
We were soooooooooooo disappointed and won’t be back.
I would have given 1 star, but they make their corn tortillas in-​house and those were great. The young lady who took our order at the counter was REALLY nice!

The food is great, super delicious, friendly workers. definitely recomend this place!

In our continued effort to find all the awesome Mexican food in the area we thought we’d stop in. I had the al pastor quesadilla, and the pork was tough and dry. This was likely due to the fact that we arrived shortly before closing, but that’s no excuse — if your available food is getting tired, it’s time to get rid of it. I’m trying to remember what Kelle K had, but alas, whatever it was didn’t leave enough of an impression.
The space was clean and service good, so there’s that, however, I felt as though the music was too loud.

The tacos and burritos I have tried here has not let me down! Quality food with great taste. I’m sure everything else on the menu is just as great.
Service is awesome too! Always super friendly whenever I go. One night I came in 5 mins after closing time and they still opened their doors for me.

I love this place! Their food is amazing and always taste perfect. I really recommend this place. I always come here to get something to eat after school.

The husband and I have been talking about trying this place out for awhile and today the stars seemed to have aligned just right because we finally gave this place a try. I’m so happy we did and I feel much regret not trying it out sooner.
The place is really small and I was quite surprised to see it was pretty busy. Regardless of them being busy the staff was very friendly and we didn’t have to wait too long to get our orders. We ordered a carne asada super burrito and a lengua super burrito and 2 gorditas. The burritos were good but the gorditas stole the show. I wasn’t a huge fan of the seasoning of the carne asada but the lengua was tender and had good flavor. The gorditas were a little oily understandably so you can’t eat a whole bunch of these but the husband and I enjoyed them a lot.
I’m so glad we finally tried this place out and we will definitely be back soon.

Most authentic mexican restaurant in the Dro! Carnitas were awesome! The grilled chicken was great too (I’m hardly ever impressed w/​grilled ckn in a mexi restaurant) my husband got the 7 mares soup and I tasted that and I’d definitely go back for that too.
They do not serve booze tho so just be prepared for that.

So we just moved to San Leandro from Las Vegas. My parents helped us move up here. While they were here, I checked Unilocal for highly rated places in the area. El Rinconcito Chilango was on the list, and we decided to check it out.
My dad got carne asada tacos. I got a chile relleno. My mom got a quesadilla. My wife got a carne asada burrito with no rice.
Everyone really enjoyed their meal, except for my dad who called it a «rinky-​dinky» place because you had to get your own chips and salsa and there were no tomatoes, lettuce, or cheese on his tacos. In other words, it wasn’t Americanized enough for him.
My mom’s quesadilla looked more like a burrito ’cause it was stuffed with so much goodness. She’s a quesadilla connoisseur and really, really liked it.
The chile relleno and burrito were also quite good. Definitely worth a trip back.
