The service is terrible here. i look like there were 5 ladies on the clock but nobody actually working. I only came here since the place is so close to the airport and after flying it need some korean food in me. From now on, I would rather drive 15 minutes more and eat somewhere else. Oh. and the food is bad too.

Eh… Banchan was the worst ive had. The spicy pork was quite bland. And the service was terrible. Writing any more about them is a waste of my time. The 2nd star was for the fact that it was still edible and, in a pinch on a short lunch during a work related training, it satisfied but i wouldn’t return or recommend anyone try it.

Pretty highly-rated korean food place. The place did not disappoint The beef stew tasted legit – you can taste the real beef essence in the soup, not just some fake seasoning threw in like most other lower-rated korean food places. It probably took them a while to make that beef broth. The service is a little long – took quite a while for them to deliver our food, even though we were 1 of only 3 tables eating there at the time. In any case, the free appetizers were plentiful and tasty, and they refilled it several times at no cost. Overall, great food at a legit korean food place. Definitely worth coming back again and again.

I live down the street from this place and sometimes forget that it exists. The food here is fairly good and service is great. The Korean waitresses are very nice and offer recommendations to me when I’m unsure on what I want on the menu. Their banchan selection isn’t bad. Their tofu soup and seafood pancake are popular choices that my girlfriend typically likes to order. Personally, I’m a meat guy so bulgogi and Korean short ribs are my go to. I recommend the short ribs! Only down side to it is that it’s pretty expensive($ 30). The bulgogi is a hit or miss, sometimes it hits the spot, other times it’s very dry. I’d only come here once in a while as I still prefer to go to AYCE kbbq places in Oakland.

This is a decent little Korean food place. I had the Bipimbop with all the sides. It was good. Nothing really fancy. Service was really good. Nice and quick at lunch time and the owner remembered what my buddy always orders. Her must go here quite often. I want to try this place again and order something a little harder to prepare and this will either keep my rating the same or possibly go up.

I seriously have nothing good to say this place. I don’t think the food is horrible but nothing is good. The service was fine but nothing to say about this place but only go here if you have to there are much much better Korean places to go to

Great food, fast service. Kalbi combo plate was tasty and tender. Coming back again.

Worst place for Korean food I’ve ever had. I’m from LA so my expectations are somewhat high but we stumbled upon this place as we were shopping nearby. We disregarded the reviews but I understand why they have low stars. Food quality is terrible. We had bbq and the sauces lacked flavor. The soup was terrible and side dishes had no flavor at all, very bland but looked decent. Smh won’t be back

Solid place for Korean food. Service was never an issue here. Food comes out in a timely manner. Started off with a complimentary salad, a little on the spicy side but nonetheless still very good. Banchan galore with no less than10 dishes. Has the seafood pancake, it thin and crispy but not chock full of seafood. The gal bi is my favorite but at $ 33.00 per order, it’s the most expensive dish I’ve ever ordered from a Korean restaurant! The other dish I like from here is the seafood bi bimbap. Let the rice sizzle for awhile before digging in, it will give you a nice crispy texture at the bottom. Mix it all up and dig in! Sometimes a little spicy but I mix it up with plain white rice to balance it out. Location is at the end of a strip mall, ample parking. They have lunch specials too. Need to save up $$$ for a meal here, may just do the lunch specials to save some dough.

Came here on a Monday night and there wasn’t a lot of people. We got seated right away, the food was fast and service was extremely good. There was a big variety of side dishes and the complimentary salad with green onions was soo delicious. I wonder if they have it on the menu because I would definitely order more next time. I love how the galbi and soft tofu soup was sizzling hot. I think the galbi was ~$ 30 which is a lot pricier than other Korean restaurants that I’ve been to but there was huge chunks of meat that was juicy and tender. Thinking about it, makes me want more. I don’t really like soft tofu soup so I thought it was alright but my friend loved it and even ordered another one to go. The last thing we ordered was the seafood pancake. It was huge and packed with a lot of octopus! Overall I would come here again and try their BBQ.

This review is for the only dish I’ve ordered from here. The Beef Bulgogi. I’ve ordered this dish twice within a 1 month time span. The first time I ordered this dish, it was literally the best Beef Bulgogi I have ever tasted. It was moist and super flavorful! Today, I ordered the Beef Bulgogi once again and I am sad to say that I am disappointed. The beef is super dry with barely any flavor. I’ve come to realize that this place probably does not serve their dishes with consistent outcomes. Perhaps they have multiple chefs who cooks differently with their own recipe. First order was definitely a 5 star, the second time was a 2 star. I rounded it to a 3 star rating. $ 24 dollars with sub par sides. It is a little on the higher end. I would be more comfortable if this was $ 20.00 even. I hope my next visit I will get lucky and land that great tasting Bulgogi I once had.

Came here for lunch with the family after a Labor Day bike ride at the Marina. Lucy specials were pretty good deals. Kal bi was tasty, naeng myun was refreshing although the broth wasn’t very rich or complex. Kim chi bokum was loved by my daughter. Service was attentive and cordial. Haven’t been here in 10 years when it used to be Oghane. It’s a far drive from Walnut Creek for us but a nice option with easy parking.

This is probably one of the more decent Korean spots between Oakland and the South Bay which I’ve been coming to years with my family. The owners and management are always very courteous and attentive to us on each of our visits. Tonight we had the bulgogi(sweet, savory, tender, and moist with a hint of that charcoal, BBQ background) and kimchee jjigae(generous amounts of kimchee and tofu(a little skimpy on the beef) in a rich and spicy broth that came out boiling hot). We also had a continuous flow of the banchan(small side dishes) coming to our table as the staff always stopped by and graciously gave us refills on the empty ones. Finally, we ended our dinner with the complimentary rice punch for dessert, chilled to perfection and not too sweet! Until next time…

Average Korean food and below average service. Nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, this is the only Korean restaurant in the area. So I go when in a hurry. Just meh. Oh! My! God! There was a hair in the glass noodle and too salty. It definitely not worth $ 11.95. I chose this place for my lunch just because it was close to my house. Terrible service. The waitress seem like don’t understand English. Even though we said thank you, she had no reply. The service and price are unacceptable. Will never come back.

Oh lord. My bf, bf’s bro and I wanted to try to place just because it’s so close to our house. We were greeted by the host, asked us how many and whether we wanted a la carte or bbq. We ordered Galbi($ 30) and spicy chicken($ 18). Because there were 3 of us, she made a small grunt, murmuring«that’s all?» During the course of eating, she placed the galbi and spicy chicken to cook, it wasn’t that much to satisfy all three of us, even though we thought the $ 30 Gabli would be a lot more. She neglected our table for a while and forgot to give us water. At the end, I asked for the bill and the total was $ 56.70, the tax was included but there was another charge that was $ 2.00~ that I wasn’t sure of, but at that point I didn’t really care. PLEASEREAD: I wrote my tip of $ 3.30 because that’s what I thought her service deserved. But before I could leave, the lady said that I have to tip the minimum of 15%. This is unreal. We have 3 people in our party, not 5 or more. This is America, there’s no specific rule on tipping besides on how excellent or how bad our service was. It was very rude of them to basically force me to pay $ 8.51 for a tip they didn’t deserve. Please don’t come here. If you’re looking for a korean place, look elsewhere, it’s probably cheaper and better service.

Decent korean food. I ordered the dol sol bi bim bop, kimchi tofu beef soup and their spicy sauted chicken with vegetables. All of it was good and they give you a lot of appetizer/side dishes; they aren’t shaddy when you ask them for refills. The only thing that brings this place down is the cost.. Boy I’ve gone to plenty of korean bbq restaurants and none of them charge over $ 30+ just for galbi(short ribs) order. if that’s the cases I’ll just go to bob sangs and pay $ 25 for ask you can eat dinners! Everything seems more expensive here. Besides that everything is fine.

food isn’t worth the terrible service. Seriously. Don’t waste your time. Every time we come here we leave so angry. Today we just got up and left. They just don’t give a damn about you

Better than Jang Su Jang in the sense that this restaurant gives you more authentic Korean food. Prices are reasonable and the ladies are super nice! My brother had the dwae ji bulgogi, which he said was pretty good. I got the salmon teriyaki lunch special, which was doused in teriyaki sauce but nevertheless still good!

My regular place when I’m craving for Korean lunch … good variety of lunch specials that are reasonably priced . Food is pretty good and service is so-so. There are times when service needs improvement especially when it gets a little busy.
