This place had some quality Asian style home goods. The aisles can be a bit narrow and staff is friendly here. If you’re visiting your friends and forgot your mahjong set, you can get it here!

I came in looking for the green liquid plant food($ 6.99) and also check out some houseplants. They have a great selection of lucky bamboo you can buy separate from its vessel(ie without the pottery so you can customize as you see fit). Yes, they also sell pottery. The store has bamboo bunches, separate stems, and even the pretty criss-cross designs I’ve admired at various Asian establishments. They also have the lovely fake-looking ZZ plants of different sizes. I got the larger one for $ 26.99. It looked healthy and flourishing. The cashier was incredible, imparting advice on how to care for my new plant. She even had a box handy for customers to transport their new live specimen home.

This place is ok compare to the Asian houseware stores in San Francisco. When I was there with my two kids, the lady was following me like a dog. They obviously have trust issues there. Some of their items are inexpensive and I will return if I need other kitchen items.

So this place is really random. It’s like a hodge podge of Asian goods BUT the most important thing about this place is that if you need a LEGIT rice cooker, come here! This isn’t the crappy stuff but the good«Made in Japan» non stick rice cookers that can play music, cook 8 different types of rice, and do calculus. I recommend anyone looking for a solid rice cooker come here. The rice cookers range from the low end to the high end models. They have other knick knacks that can keep you occupied for awhile.

Super affordable and practical import housewares shop is like Sur La Table and the Dollar Store eloped to China and had a baby. If you eat lots of produce, make green juice, brew kombucha or beer, or just have a weakness for useful kitchen stuff, there are things here that you need. Another smaller section of the store has lots of import gift/novelty items — fun to browse, but not nearly as exciting as the housewares.

Houseware House is one of those stores that has many different items all in one store. Things you never knew that you needed until you laid your eyes on it. They have everything from the silver reflective car windshield cover to a mini cheese crater to pack of chop sticks(that will last a family of 6 for a life time) to large pieces luggage. Yep, anything and everything is here. Looking for a plant and/or flowers??? it’s here waiting for you to purchase. Need to replace a spatula? come and get it. Roasting bags for a turkey? don’t want to touch the raw turkey with your bare hands? no problem they have rubber gloves here too. Prices are a little lower than you will find in chain stores. Make sure you have some time to walk around since there is lots to see.

Gotta love a business name that sticks in your head… Houseware House is akin to Daiso in my mind, where you can find all kinds of items and gifts from practical and useful to completely useless but fun. Their prices are not exactly what I would call discount store or dollar store calibre, but the vast majority of their stock is imported from Asia, so don’t go here looking for high-end, brand name stuff. That said, you can find item comparable to what you might find at a Target or Kohl’s, and yes, it might not be as pretty, but it may well cost you half the price. This place would be a great option for college students or people moving out on their own for the first time, as you can get all kinds of kitchenware and small electronics for good prices. Houseware Houes is tucked away just to the right of Foodnet in the Windsor Plaza, and as far as I know, it’s the only store of its kind in the area. It’s a great place to browse and kill time if you’re waiting on a pizza from Marina Pizza or someone grocery shopping at Foodnet.

This is a pretty awesome store within walking distance of my house. It’s like a dollar store crossed with a japanese home goods store. They have all sorts of goodies, from kitchenware to rice cookers to decorations like fountains and little plants. Totally awesome and affordable with quirky but usable items like a tie hanger. My score was $ 1 little floor mats, a $ 3 broom and cute little $ 1 placemats for a table.

Love this store! The owners are very nice, HONEST, and very helpful. Since they had opened their business, I had bought my rice cooker and glass containers from them. I’ve recently bought a stainless steel dish rack and other items from them yesterday and after paying for the items, I realized that I had forgotten the stainless steel dish rack box left by the counter. I immediately left a voice message about my misfortune and went to the store the day after. I showed my receipt and explained my mishap. Luckily the owner remembered me and I’ve reclaimed the dish rack I had bought. I’m a HAPPY Customer!

Houseware House could easily be mistaken for a nursery by the numerous«lucky» bamboo plants in the window. inside is a combinaton of dollar store and chinese houseware store. interesting finds: –mooncake molds –scissors to cut meats –chinese chess games –aluminum steamware –woks, rice pots. picked up a toothbrush(1) and small dustpan with brush(1.39) houseware is near the foodnet market. only downside is there’s no food here. maybe that explains why there’s only one review for this place.
