Pag’s is a great local dive. Shoot, I met my husband there! Linda, the bartender, is awesome, and every year she runs a fundraiser for breast cancer!

This place is awesome. The bartender is sweet and the drinks are great. The atmosphere is mellow and very welcoming. The bartender was playing good music and made me feel very at home. I plan on going back & making Paganos my regular hangout.

This place is sooooooooooooo ghetto. Last time me and my friends went, some chick with ugly Mexican prom shoes on tried to start a fight with us! Not only did these women kick on the door while I was using the restroom, they grabbed my friend’s ass as we walked out of the restroom! Oh…you couldn’t pay me to go back! I love dive bars, but this is a whole new level of dive… this is like a place in hell where they have happy hour and all these weird psychos come and attack you.

I’m not sure what is going on when others are stopping by Pagano’s but every time I’ve been here I’ve had a great time. First experience was on a slow Friday night, me and my BF grabbed a pool table well before 9pm and played a couple rounds. About 9:30pm the people started to really flow in and the dance floor was filling up, so we snagged a spot and danced for about an hour. No complaints at all. Second experience was on Christmas Eve 2012. We just needed to get out of the house and Pagano’s was the spot. We didn’t anticipate a large crowd and well we were right. There was one bartender, a bar back that was off the clock and one other customer. We actually enjoyed that very much, we got to know the bartender a bit and the bar back bought us all pizza. It was just a down to earth fun kind of night. All nights after that have been more crowded. There is always a DJ on the weekends spinning records for most of the night. They have plenty of pool tables, bathrooms(I can only speak for the women) are well there is only one toilet but a large bathroom so the women can go in together if they are friends, lol. Parking is not a hassle at all. And security does their job well. There is also a juke box for the nights when there is no DJ, and they do offer lottery as well. I mean yea thee are those crowds of people that come in unhappy or loud and well whats the word the kids use now? oh rachett… but as long as you mind yours they mind theirs. You are there to have a good time, don’t let others ruin that for you.

«You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.» When I think of Pagano’s, the word«cesspool» comes to mind. I remember coming here years ago and it wasn’t too bad of a place. I went here recently for a friend’s birthday party, and boy has this place turned into the butthole of San Leandro. Firstly, there are 5 pool tables… which would be a nice thing, but they’re in an L shape in a cramped hallway and you spend more time waiting to take your shot than actually playing pool. I would call this a sound business decision, since 3 of the pool tables are pay by the hour, while 2 are coin-op, but the coin-op tables are right next to each other, so the more time spent waiting on those tables, the less overall money made. They could do with removing at least one of the tables. The bartender that was working was really nice, and the price of beer is just about right, but the price of mixed drinks just about blew my mind(in a bad way). I believe it was $ 7 for a Long Island… which is what you’ll pay in just about any dive bar… but these were literally in a tiny, disposable cup. If you’re going to drink here, do yourself a favor and just get beer. Now, these issues in themselves don’t deserve a one-star rating, but my real issue is with the patrons. A lot of the people in here are the«wannabe thug» types. The kind of people you actually do have to worry about because they feel they have to prove themselves. I had people talking crap to me as soon as I walked into the bathroom. Completely unprovoked. I probably walked in on a drug deal or something. I, personally, don’t let these kinds of people into my bar and it’s a better place because of it. If you can’t control your patrons, then you truly don’t have control of your bar. They do have security here, but they’re nothing more than warm bodies there to break up the fights that do happen. I guess the words«preventative measures» aren’t in the vocabulary of this place. This place does have potential, but they’d have to get rid of a pool table to free up some space and allow for comfortable playing and either hire some real security, or at least keep a better eye on the scum that does come in here.

Only stopped here for a quick shot, but it seems like a good place. All the clientele were men, as was the friendly bartender. But the pours are generous and prices fair, especially compared to the nearby Marina Lounge.

On a good night it’s Fun! Sometimes its dead. My girls and I go every once in a while since bar hopping isn’t an every weekend thing for us. Although girls night out brings us here. Its close to home, so we do the taxi thing. I like there isnt 50 horney guys following us around! LOL The drinks are cool and the music is Town business at its finest!.. LOL.The regulars are nice, and the bouncers are not over bearing and the Aged well bartender is a doll! I would recommend if you want a slightly ghetto but fun place!

So I decided to try this place out because I was looking for Karaōke. The reason this place gets such a high rating is because they have karaōke everyday of the week. Plus there isn’t 25 regulars you have to wait for(because the KJ lets them sing 5 times before you get a second song). If you are addicted to karaōke this is a viable option. However, if you just like hanging out at bars… don’t bother. The drinks are HORRIBLE I mean all sweet and sour and NO liquor. They only take cash, and the regulars are a little creepy.

Undercover cops waiting outside for drunk drivers. San Leandro PD walks inside the bar and flirts with females and takes a picture with them. The drinks are weak. Fights happens most of the time I go there. Bathroom gets really dirty and stinky. I waited for so long to use the women’s bathroom, next thing I know someone was having sex in there. This place is going downhill. It used to be alright but now it’s just not a cool place to hang out anymore. Oh yeah, plenty of dead beat dads hang out here too lol I give it one star for the DJ who plays Bay Area artists/songs. Two thumbs down for pimps who tries to do business in Paganos… low down

If you’re here for beer, I hope you get a cold one. If you’re here for pool, I hope you get a table that isn’t crooked. If you’re here at all, hope for the best.

though there’s 5 pool tables and dart boards in a separate room and a cool bartender, draft beer that is stale(guinness) and not so cold leaves me cold.

I have only been to this bar twice and had no idea there was another side behind the bar.lol.I figured it out the second time i went back. The first time I came here i was like«this place is way to small» but went back a second time and discovered that the second side of the bar is way bigger and more entertaining with pool tables and a live DJ on the weekends. I was raised in that area were this bar is located but dont live there no more so the main thing I was unsatisfied with was seeing a lot of people I went to high school with. And it’s sad to say they have not changed one bit since high school. But other that that it’s a cool bar to go hang out and have a few buds.

Atmosphere: Poorly lit box filled with cheery but doomed souls; the type of place that«proudly» serves Bud Light. Friendly female bartender who is, um, aging well. Lot’s o’ A’s and Raiders stuff, as well as pool tournament championshpi plaques. Activities: Listening to the juke box’s wide array of classic rock, so you can blast your favorite Van Halen tune while playing pool or shuffleboard. Discussing a regular patron’s alcoholism with him, over your 5th cheap drink…
