Reuschelle’s Cheesecakes

We ordered a cheesecake from Reuschelle’s for our wedding cake and couldn’t have been happier. Delicious! Love that they deliver. They have fun & tasty flavors (we got the caramel apple for our wedding).

A neighbor gave me and my family the cheesecake sampler as a gift for the holidays. The sampler included — plain, chocolate chip and raspberry, marble,
and banana rum. Hands down this has to be some of the best cheesecakes I have ever eaten! Some how made to be light, yet creamy, with perfect firmness. I must admit I do have some pretty high cheesecake standards and delivery from New York is not an option for me, but this is pretty close to the top my my cheesecake favorite list. I’m a now a big fan. The chocolate chip and banana rum had to be my favorite of the mix but you can never go wrong with the original.

I was surprised with these delicious cheesecakes for my birthday! They are delicious, a true traditional taste with unique varieties. I recommended raspberry chocolate chips, original, caramel and blueberry!

I had my eye on Reuschelle’s since even before the Unilocal Sipnic but unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, I was only able to make the last hour of the event and therefore missed my chance to sample his cheesecakes.
Fast forward another year and a half later and when I was looking for mini desserts for the birthday girl, I immediately thought of Reuschelle’s. For first timers, I think the sampler pack for $ 25 is perfect if you cannot decide or want to try a few flavors before committing to a full cheesecake.
Subconsciously I ended up getting all fruit based ones as if that would make me feel better about eating dessert and ranked them as follows.
Caramel Apple — I actually enjoyed the caramel apple the best as it really did taste like eating a caramel apple. The caramel may overpower the apples however if you’re just eating a tiny slice
Strawberry Shortcake — This was a close second for me while it was the top choice for a few others. It is like strawberries and cream meets cheesecake. You almost want to pair it with some pink champagne.
Blueberry — The blueberry had the most fruit pieces in it so the flavor really shines through on this one and perfect for the blueberry lover.
Banana Rum — Surprisingly this one was my least favorite only because I can barely taste the banana and since I ate this first, I cannot blame it being overpowered by the other choices. The banana flavor was super light and did not taste any rum flavor in this so if I did not know what it was suppose to be, you may think you are eating plain for this one.
Overall though, great experience… Victor is very personable and friendly so call him up and try his decadent creations for your next party.

Excellent customer service and the caramel apple cheesecake is to die for.
I’m not a baker and far too lazy to attempt this on my own, and even with delivery, these cheesecakes are worth EVERY penny.

serving his famous cheesecake at the Unilocal Sipnic and everything you have read about his product is true. He makes an absolutely stunning cheesecake, far better than most restaurants serve. I’m keeping his number handy so that I can order one of his creations for our next family gathering.

Dear Caramel Apple Cheesecake et al,
I know we just met but I already have a love hate relationship with you.
Why are you so damn good? Why do I keep fantasizing about you the moment you disappear? Why do you have such a potentially devastating impact on my once shrinking waistline?
I’m not sure if we should hang out again. But like that friend that your parents forbid you from hanging out with, I am more motivated than ever to plan our next rendezvous.

OHEMGEEE!!! It was DERRIOUS!!! I ordered the 7inch original for my boss’ belated birthday. And it was a hit! Boss enjoyed, the boss’ boss loved it, and us lil peons also LOVED it!
Victor dropped off the cheesecake with a smile, even though he had to travel all the way up to the Lab in Berkeley, he was kind and very personable, and I will be glad to become a regular customer! What is pricey though, for superb food and dessert, can you really put a price on that? I THINK NOT!!!
The consistency was pure perfection, allowing the cheesecake to be dense and fluffy at the same time. You can taste the hint of lemon and vanilla, nothing in the cheesecake was too much or too little. The graham cracker crust was on point! KUDOS to google for blasting this place after querying for «best cheesecake oakland»!

Oh. My. God. Seriously — BEST CHEESECAKE EVER. Lots of mmmmm’s, aaaaahh’s and ohhhhh’s going around at the table last night during dessert. We ordered the Strawberry Shortcake flavor — out of this world! We also asked for two 3″ samplers of Caramel Apple and Banana Rum — delish!!! (We couldn’t help ourselves after reading the reviews.) My nephew and I just had the last few pieces of the Strawberry Shortcake cheesecake after lunch and savored every last morsel!
Ordering and delivery were a breeze, and Victor responded to emails, phone calls and texts very quickly.

Victors cheesecakes are amazing! I got a small 3″ one for 7 dollars plus delivery so it was 10 dollars. WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY! If you love or want to try cheesecake get one from him!
I got the raspberry white chocolate chip with Oreo crust! BOMB​.COM. AND he brought it to me at 9 in the morning! I couldn’t go it any later so I’m glad he accommodates :).
He does not have an actual store so all orders are delivery I think. I’m glad I tried it. It’s the real deal no more Cheesecake Factory for this girl!

Victor and I met through mutual interest. Mythbusters and Mazda Miatas… After talking to him about a lot of different subjects cheesecakes came up. I love me some cheesecake. On multiple occasions I drove from Fairfield to Sacramento (47 minute drive and about 45 miles) just for some cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. So imagine my delight when I find out, not only is he a cheesecake aficionado. He makes them!
I placed an order for an original 7″, as well as four 3″ sampler in Caramel Apple, Chocolate Marble, Banana Rum, and White Chocolate Raspberry Chocolate Chip. If I was able to order and consume his entire menu and still be happy with myself in the morning. I would.
The cheesecake has a very velvety texture. But also doesn’t fall victim to being overly heavy and thick like most store bought cheesecakes. The caramel apple was one of my favorites. The caramel topping was a great compliment to the cheesecake that had apple chunks blended in. It was hard to put the other three in a list, because they were all so good. But the Caramel Apple hit a home run for me because its a flavor I haven’t really tasted before.
Believe me though, you won’t be disappointed with any of Reuschelle’s Cheesecakes. I’ll be placing orders with him again in the near future, and for any get together I’ll be having. Best thing about this though besides delicious cheesecake? He delivers!

So I called him so very last minute to put in an order and he was MORE than happy to help me out. You can either order online or call it in and he will deliver it right to you. We tried the banana rum cheesecake at Unilocal Sip-​Nic 2013. Ahh-​mmma-​zing. We could have eaten the whole tray. The. Whole. Tray. Dude, if your other flavors are half this good, I will hire you for the next 50 parties we throw, whatever the occasion (how are you with kids birthdays?). I’m totally gonna steal that banana rum idea and try it in my own cheesecakes (haha … as if … but no, really ;-) .)
One simple, honest, powerfully good recipe stole the whole show at Sip-​Nic as far as we were concerned. Well played, Reuschelle’s and Victor!

Victor is the man. That’s pretty much it, but I’m going to go on for my own sake.
Victor is now my family’s go to guy for cheesecake. And guess what? He DELIVERS! When I need to celebrate (pretty much everyday), I call up Victor and ask for a cheesecake for any occasion and he whips up something special.
I’ve had so many different flavors from Victor’s Reuchelle’s and none of them disappoint. The cake is always thick and solid, the crust is crumbly delicious. Totally worth every penny.
A+ for cheesecake and a good guy.
