San Leandro Senior Community Center

TV not working there to lazy to fix the problem been off for 2 weeks people been complaining the rest of the place is cold not comfortable to stay for to long but very clean

I had my baby shower here & the center is beautiful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had about 100 guests and rented half of the big gymnasium. Everyone fit comfortably.

We had a 150+ people baby shower at this location recently on a Saturday. Here is my experience.
It is expensive in comparison to other centers from the Eastbay to the Peninsula, we looked at several venues.
It is worth every penny. The staff is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.
The security staff is very active and professional.
The janitorial staff is prompt and helpful.
The location is very clean, well-​kept and up to date.

No, I’m not a senior citizen but I’m guessing there aren’t a lot of senior citizens on Unilocal since this Community Center opened in April 2012, and still no reviews? Anyway, I visited this center for a Red Cross Blood Drive. The facility is located right next to the San Leandro Hospital. Not to be morbid but I guess that’s the best place to build a senior center…
The community center is very new, clean and modern. I assume it’s used for various activities serving the senior community (dancing, lunches and other fun things seniors do). There are several meeting rooms in different sizes that the public can rent out for events or activities. The signs inside the center are big and clear so you won’t get lost. Ample parking everywhere since the facility shares the parking lot with the SL Hospital. This is a convenient location in Da Dro for a community center.
