Although I am a disabled senior, they declined to help me fill their containers with yogurt. They charged a price higher than the weight when I requested a container with just some additional cookie crumb toppings. Snofari yogurt is the best in town for me.

Short sale. Strawberry shortcake as frozen yogurt? Yes please. Mixed with peanut butter frozen yogurt and topped with granola and hot fudge? Absolutely. Everything mentioned above somehow fat free? Incredulous and amazing. Paying $ 4.10 for this quite delicious combination? You bet. Made short work of it.

I just love Bali’s. They’ve been around since before I was going to college. They’re just downright good. They’re a little old-school, with no amazing new marketing – but they don’t need it. Nothing should ever change about this place. The yummiest yogurt in California. They’re peanut butter is great and they’re cheesecake tastes like cheesecake. They’re toppings are obviously hand cut and the people are simple and nice. And so ply nice. I look forward to coming here everytime I come to the central coast.

This is a very inexpensive frozen yogurt place in the center of down town SLO. They’ve got several flavors of yogurt and many many topping choices. The place is clean, the service is nice, and they have outdoor seating where you can relax and people watch while you enjoy your treat. Highly recommended!

The toppings are top notch. Giant brownies instead of those little pre frozen ones at most places. The topping containers were very clean, well stocked, and the prices are awesome! Wish they had more fruit flavoured yogurt and outdoor seating.

They don’t charge a 0.50 charge. They took out the charge. Still excellent frozen yogurt!!!

The yogurt itself is okay, but the toppings are seriously lacking. They don’t have ANY fresh fruit here, only canned syrupy crap. Gross. And it’s really awkward that the employees have to get you samples, especially since you can’t gauge how quickly the yogurt shoots out of the machine, so you’ll almost inevitably get too much when you fill up the cups yourself to purchase. I’m pretty sure that’s part of their business model, which they attempt to play off as «good customer service.» But since I’m onto you, I’m not coming back.

I consider myself a fro yo snob and this places is a cut above the competition. Tasty, tasty yogurt and clean, organized delish toppings. Most fro yo places look like delinquent kids have trashed the place, but Bali’s looks like it opened yesterday. All fro yo and toppings are by the ounce and it’s quite a steal. I loaded up my cup for under $ 4. I enjoyed a classic vanilla/chocolate swirl but I tasted the mint and it packed a flavorful punch. Metered parking only.

Fuck Yogurt Creations. Bali’s is the best! Seriously, I got like 12 ounces of fro-yo with 5 different toppings for like 3 dollars! I’m not even a frozen yogurt person, but damn it’s tasty. Also the staff always seem to be real sweet! Great bunch of people! What’s always made me nervous about self-serve is accidentally dispensing too much and having to pay out the batooty for it. But I’ve seen numerous people ask to simply dump some out, and they always happily let them which is great! So yeah, definitely go here instead of yogurt creations and their hospital room looking environment! Local businesses FTW!

It’s a self serve frozen yogurt place. When I crave ice cream, and I want it to be fast/easy and decent priced, I run over to this place. Can’t complain. :)

Seriously best peanut butter yogurt I have tasted very creamy and not too sweet! Wish a better yogurt place would open in SM!

Oh, Bali’s. My boyfriend loves this place, in no small part due to reminiscing from college, where he could freely eat fro-yo for dinner. I tag along in moral support, but can’t say I would actively pursue this place on my own. Pro’s: Waffle cone option, free(supervised) samples, a plethora of toppings, very kid friendly, $.38 per ounce. Con’s: Very thick, ice-cream-esque yogurt. While this is totally great for many, it would be great to see more tart options, and fewer dessert-y ones(chocolate, cookies-n-cream, peanut butter dominate the menu). Toppings are very stale, and there are few fresh options in the way of fruit. I haven’t tried Yogurt Creations nearby, but it might be worth a shot? Odds are good that I’ll probably return at the helm of the BF, but I’ll stick with granola and steer away from the chocolate-covered marshmallows. With enough practice, this place may even grow on me. :-)

So yummy and so fun! Create your own frozen yogurt treat, however big or small you want with whatever toppings you want. They weigh it and you just pay for the amount you served yourself. Nice to grab some and then walk around downtown SLO on a gorgeous day. I love plain vanilla with just a small amount of chopped up brownies and fresh raspberries. Check it out! I usually pay $ 2-ish.

I really like their yogurt! It’s very creamy and rich, and it reminds me more of ice cream than yogurt. They only have a limited flavor though): But I love their dutch chocolate and orea cookie flavor! Sooo creamyyy! They also have a ton of toppings! This place is also one of the cheapest yogurt places in slo, which is one of the reasons why I like them.

This is my third review on desserts this week! Went to Bali’s yesterday after I was craving some froyo. I’m a senior at Cal Poly and I can’t believe this is my first time trying Bali’s! Better late than never I suppose. Loved my experience! I had the plain Euro tart which was great. The chocolate was noms and was perfect to satisfy my froyo cravings! The worker there was super nice and I always appreciate great service. Can’t wait to go back on a hot day.

Three things stand out about Bali’s: 1. 38 cents an ounce is a better price than any of our Chicago shops. 2. The interior looks like it was decorated for a fourth-grade play – by the fourth-graders. 3. Their toppings selection is staggering: 54 dry toppings(yes, I counted) and half a dozen sauces. There are otherwise mainstream candies that you simply don’t see at these places very often(peanut M&Ms, yes!) but also some relatively obscure stuff such as chocolate-covered gummi bears(blech). The yogurt itself isn’t the greatest; for example, the latte flavor barely tasted of coffee. But it’s my fault for getting it, since they let me sample the flavor beforehand like any frozen-dessert stand worth its salt.

Really good yogurt here. I just tried their white chocolate and macadamia nut flavor and was very impressed. Good topping selections and they all tasted fresh. Like another poster mentioned they have a very limited supply of fruit, maybe like one or two types. Kinda disappointing, but not major. Good prices, a usually friendly staff and they have a ton of good flavors. Good alternative if your downtown.

visited SLO and was craving yogurt. I cannot remember what I ate ATALL(what is wrong with me!?) but it was damn good. My mom also thought it was damn good. Tons of toppings, great flavors, super creamy. and cheap!

I am a self-proclaimed froyo connasseur and Bali’s Self Serve has to be the best frozen yogurt my tongue has ever tasted, the creamiest smoothest and fluffiest my mouth has ever encountered. Might consider making the drive from LA all the way to SLO just for a taste of marshmellow clouds frothing in my mouth! Décor is so minimal it’s borderline ghetto; but product is so good, who cares about the rest! Lots of toppings that did look slightly unsanitary but hey… it’s all about the froyo and this place has the magic recipe! Inexpensive(at $ 0.30 per ounce) $ 8 min for credit card. If your order is under $ 8 and you got no cash, be prepared to pay $ 0.50 surcharge on your order. Girl behind the counter was mellow, laid-back, friendly. Froyo is weighed. You serve yourself and add your own toppings. No line(when I went)!

There’s almost 100 reviews for this place already, so I’m going to skip to the most important part. Any place that offers Jelly Bellys as a topping gets four stars in my book. The only reason why they didn’t get five is because they charge an extra fifty cents if you use a credit card. The end.
