Stopped at crazy jays because I needed help finding 2 outfits for upcoming events. I was greeted as I walked in the door! The girls(staff) are so nice and attentive. This place is pet friendly witch I loved because I got to take my dog in with me. Some items are a little pricy but it’s overall a cute shop and thanks to ELINA, I found the two outfits I needed! She was a BIGHELP! And was so patient helping me find what I needed! Great customer service! :)

I went into Crazy Jay’s looking for a specific colored shirt for an upcoming weekend event. I was greeted right away when I walked into the store & asked if I needed help finding anything. I expressed what I needed and was taken to the right area of the store. It’s a big plus when an employee actually walks you over to a specific area and shows you merchandise rather than pointing to the other side of the room. I was very impressed by the level of professionalism that I received from the nice young ladies at Crazy Jay’s. Keep up the great work ladies!

Lemme just tell you… I used to shop here when I was in Jr. High and sometimes in HighSchool because of the insanely cheap prices and über trendy products. However, I never really noticed the horrible customer service and product quality until I started actually working in retail. At Crazy Jays, you get what you pay for. CHEAPCHEAPCHEAP

I have to disagree with some of the previous posts about it beating forever 21 — the clothes aren’t even THAT cute and the prices are just decent. It’s not a bad place to shop, but I’ve never actually really liked anything the few times I’ve gone there

Every time I pass by this store, I get sucked in by the 5 $ rack sitting outside… it’s not that I need clothes, I just can’t help myself. Plusses: Cute stuff– trendy styles. Friendly staff. Ample sale items. Minuses: Clothes run very small and shoes do not go up to big sizes(i.e. 11). Regardless, I will continue to visit Crazy Jay’s whenever I’m in SLO. Even if it’s just for looks…

Puts Forever 21 to shame. Great shoes, clothes, bags, all for SO cheap. Sometimes I feel a tad too old to shop here, but whatever… I always have to blow through here when I’m in town and it’s great that they have chairs for the boys. I wish I had a store like this up in SF!

Crazy Jay’s is Kinda like Forever 21 to me. It is the place you go when you have an even you want a fun outfit for, but you don’t want to spend a ton of money, or even $ 50 for that matter. Like many places in SLO they had really cute shoes, cheap accessories. What impressed me about Jay’s was that they had a huge variety, from prom dresses to sweats. The only thing I ever bought here was a pair of little canvas ballet shoes that I wore until they ripped 4 years later. They were 5 bucks. Sweet.

So I first discovered this cute little boutique last year among the many boutique’s nestled on Higuera street. Their selection of adorable Chinese Laundry purses reeled me in, and the ridiculously low prices convinced me to purchase. When I went back again last week, to my shag-rim there were no Chinese Laundry bags for sale :(However, in the process of my brief disappointment came an adorable pair of jeans and a beautiful bubble dress tank top! I love Crazy Jay’s and I haven’t found another shop on Higuera that matches their prices and selection! The staff was extremely friendly as well :)

I just bought a really cute pair of shoes from here, and I never really realized how decent their prices are until very recently. Good selection, might not be as awesome as other boutiques downtown, but they definitely have more space to wander and browse. The thing that got me was the staff… I was having issues finding my size and style in the shoe I wanted and every time I looked up, there were two girls just chatting away about their boyfriends or whatever girly things, while another coworker was the only one helping out another needy customer. I probably just have a thing against this place when I heard they fired a friend of mine during her first week on the job when she called in sick… once… Be a little humane, at least?
