I never leave reviews but decided this would be a good time to start. I work close to Froggie’s and go there often. So today I went with a co-worker who had never been there before, so she asked a few questions about the menu. From the minute we entered there was no hello, no greeting of any sort to acknowledge us. And when we started ordering the girl at the register couldn’t have been more rude. Not to mention they were out of what we wanted to order with no sign indicating such. Usually that wouldn’t matter but the fact that the service we received was so horrible we ended up going somewhere else. I probably will never go back. I work with many people who frequent this business and I will be letting them know the experience we had. If someone doesn’t like helping people they shouldn’t be in customer service. There were 2 other people working there who were nice but the person who treated us like an inconvenience really ruined are day. Such a bummer cause I loved this place!

The Ice Cream here is good as any in SLO. It’s called SLO-maid and it is a local product. I have several favorites, and my wife loves the low-cal soft serve. They also sell ice cream in bulk packaging, and we have taken advantage of that when they have some of our favorites, like Irish Crème Chip, OUTSTANDING!

My friend and I stopped by here after her job interview for a treat. The interior was pretty cute if you’re 6: lots and lots of light green. I got a malt vanilla shake and my friend ordered some mango smoothie. Mine didn’t taste very vanilla… Admittedly, I’m not very familiar with what malt is, but it just tasted like liquid Whoppers. If that’s what malt is supposed to be like, then whoops! I guess I should up my stars! My friend’s mango smoothie didn’t taste like mango at all but bananas. Weird. On the plus side, the worker was super nice and they had pre-packed pints of ice cream for 2 for $ 4 or something like that.

The service is inconsistent and workers lackadaisical. Phone manners rough around the edges. Food quality random — can be good, but it’s a gamble

Love Froggies! It’s a hidden gem when it comes to food. Their raspberry salad makes Nucci’s look like a cheap cousin. My staff and I eat here a few times a week… I can’t comment on the frozen items, but the food is great and the price is even better. Keep up the good work Froggies!

Great frozen yogurt, ice cream and smoothies. I’ve heard the wraps are also good although I haven’t tried them yet. A great place to go for a cold treat on a hot day.

Overall the food here is tasty, but the service has been dragging recently. It took them 15 minutes to make one panini today, and they thought it was part of another person’s order. Only go here if you have time and patience for stupidity.

It’s fine. I just can’t bring myself to go to Starbucks when I’m in SLO, so I come here. My grandma lives super close and she only has ‘Constant Comment’ and some terrible decaf on hand, so I usually roll out of bed and grab a cup here. It isn’t very hot, but I kind of like their mild house blend– it must be the Presbyterian in me! If you need something better, get a espresso drink, but don’t expect much. High School and younger folks work here who probably enjoy the fro-yo a lot more, which I never partake in.

We had heard about this place and were looking forward to our visit. The poor gal at the counter was all alone, and the place was very busy, so it was a fairly long wait. The atmosphere was nice, and the décor was appealing. I ordered their mozarella tomato panini special. The bread was quite dry and the sandwich spent waaaay too long in the press and was a over toasted. It shattered and crumbled when I tried to eat it. The tomatoes and condiments were good. I was disappointed I didn’t get to enjoy it due to the really poor bread. I would be willing to give it a try again. They made someone else a wrap while I waited that looked quite good, but I would pass on the paninis.

Froggies is just too delish. There are just so many splendid food and drink items to choose from! There’s ice cream(my personal favorite thing to splurge on), wraps, salads, sandwiches, frozen yogurt, smoothies, coffee, bagels, and even pastries. Each time I go in, I have a hard time deciding on just one thing. I can’t get enough of those darn wraps, that’s for sure. The garden variety is an excellent choice for vegetarians, like me, but they also have a wide variety of chicken wraps which looked rather appetizing. And the ice cream, don’t get me started on. SOMANYCHOICES! And all so scrumptious, especially the frosted cupcake. It’s literally like eating a freaking cupcake! WITHSPRINKLES! The smoothies are also worth a try, if you can decide on a flavor. I haven’t tried them all, but I’m getting there. I prefer the mango flip or Reese cup, depending on my sweet tooth that day. Overall, I am just glad there is a local café near my home, because frankly I was sick of driving across town just to support local businesses. It also helps that all of the staff are super friendly and always very helpful and accommodating. I guess it’s one of the perks of being a regular!

I have been to Froggie’s a handful of times and I have always had a wonderful time. I like their breakfast sandwich which is remarkably not greasy like your average one. I can tell they use quality ingredients. My husband and I went there and shared a pastrami sandwich that they had on special and it was THEBEST pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had – and I’ve tried a lot of pastrami sandwiches. I’ve never had the ice cream, but they have nice coffee drinks and good parking. It’s a nice place to sit.

I took my dad to Froggie’s Café for lunch and we had the BESTGREEKSALAD I have ever had! I go there often because they have the BEST Yogurt in town. I highly recommend Froggie’s Café for lunch, dinner, ice cream(what is wonderful!), coffee or a yogurt. The menu has something for everyone. You will love what ever you order at Froggie’s, Also, the staff is so friendly it makes it so nice to go into Froggie’s. Also what I love FROGGIE’S CAFEISLOCALLYOWNED! Please support our locally own businesses.

I was sad when I noticed the shopping center within walking distance of our new place had not one, but TWO Starbucks in it. I figured I would have to succumb to the beast if I ever wanted a badly made caffeinated drink. As Mad and I made our way to Vons one day, I noticed Froggie’s and decided to take a chance. Sure glad I did. I had some specialty drink for St. Patty’s day and a Tomato Zinger bagel. I love open faced bagels with tomato on it, but they step it up a notch and put lemon pepper on it. Amazingly simple and delightful! Can’t believe I never thought of that. The latte was a little sweet for my liking, but thats what I get for falling prey to the sugary leprechaun drink. The icing on the cake here is the family friendly-ness. They have the two tables in the back with some boxes full of books, games, etc. to help occupy your unruly children while you try to enjoy — or gobble– your food and drink before they get bored. Which for me is 58.6 seconds. Can’t wait to stop here for ice cream when the weather warms up!

The coffee was unimpressive – average coffee dispenser filled with lukewarm coffee that had been made long before we arrived. The ice cream looked good but as far as coffee goes I would have to pass.

I love small locally owned shops like this. Very friendly employees. Ice cream is amazing. Smoothies are like the ones you make at home. And the sandwiches aren’t bad either. The only down side is the higher prices in my opinion, and smaller serving sizes.

My husband and I finally grabbed a quick bite to eat here today. My hunch is that the«food» end isn’t that great, but they did do a good job on the Bacon Chicken Ranch Wrap we had. It was fresh. So make your food choices based on what’s least likely to be processed/canned/reheated food. The mango yogurt shake we got was very good. I’d prefer it to be thicker, but the flavor was right on. Seems like this is a very good place to grab some coffee and munchies and sit back for awhile.

Oohhh. Haven’t been here in a while! I like this place because it is a local shop and I would really rather not go to one of those commercialized coffee places. I actually don’t go here for the coffee, though it always smells great and is such a cute and non-commercialized environment to hang out in. The shakes are what had me going here, except that they end up a little on the runny side. My favorite was the Oreo one, and a few others which I can’t recall exactly. I’m a sucker for chocolate so I believe I stuck to mostly those =] yum. The only real reason I stopped going here is because I rarely find myself on that side of town anymore, but I do mean to go in again!

Your average Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream Place. We live nearby so its the closest of its kind for us. OK selection, and can play checkers on a few of their tables. I only give 3 stars because when you get a frozen yogurt, they usually put a peice of waffle cone in it for you(as a garnish I guess). But the last time we went, they told us there were out of peices(even though we saw a big tray of them behind the counter). We asked what was up with that, and they said they were out of them FORTHEDAY, and those were for tomorrow. Couldn’t have just thrown one on for us?

My kids love to wreak havoc on Froggie’s, and nevertheless they seem to keep letting us come back. Good coffee. Good place for smoothies and a quick breakfast, although they tend to run out of food sometimes.

Have to say I was a little disappointed with this place. The Ice Cream is good but their shakes are a little off(They add too much milk or something)
