I called them again on a Viking wine cooler. Although the parts were under warrantee the labor was almost double of that of another repair service. But the service call was also 70% more than the other repairman. So warning to all ASK what the service call is before you book them. I had to go with them because they were the only factory authorized rep to work on Viking. Don’t buy Viking

A guest broke the trash compactor at our house in Pismo Beach. G&S made the repair. They were so good we added a few«while you’re at it» repairs and they were also done well. Life is smoother because they came to our house. I recommend them without reservation.

We bought a new GE top loading washer in 2012 with extended warranty and for three years it performed flawlessly. One of the weights that helps regulate the spin cycle had come loose. There was quite a bit of noise just during the spin. We contacted G&S for warranty work on Monday morning and got a Tuesday afternoon appointment. Two men came to the door. Yes, they were friendly, professional, and helpful. Within minutes they had figured out the problem. Everything was working smoothly within 30 minutes. They also checked to see that the washer was leveled properly. I would be pleased to call them again should a problem arise.

Full stars for keeping commitments and friendliness. After my home warranty company screwed up, sending someone with a new stove who did not install it, or contact them to say it was not installed, I needed someone quick to make the connection and get my tenant cooking again. After one local company said it would be 5 days – unacceptable – I called G&S, who were busy, but who understood the situation and made the problem go away in the same day. They got out there as promised, swapped connectors without charging me for that, hauled the old one away, and made my tenant happy very quickly. I’ll definitely go with them again for any future appliance needs.

I had to call them to fix my refrigerator(which was still under warranty because it wasn’t quite a year old). They sent someone out and tried to work around my schedule, he wasn’t able to fix it because they had to order a part — so another I had to wait for that part to come in. Once the part arrived they fixed my fridge and all has been great. They were on time to my home both times, friendly and a wealth of information. I really appreciate the service they provided and will call them again if anything goes wrong with the appliances in my home.
