Took lessons for two years, they have quality instructors. They are very knowledgeable and helpful with equipment, musical instruments and care about local musicians.

This «music store» did not carry any flute cleaning rods. The associate put minimal effort towards looking for stock. Thanks for nothing! It’s no wonder customers shop online when local stores can’t carry basic items.

— Availability: First of all, points for being open on a Saturday! I live in LA but stay here a lot of weekends. I’ve been on the hunt for a ukulele for the past few weeks, and wanted to keep the search up even while on vacation. I was looking forward to taking advantage of a new town to hunt through, but non of the other music stores are open on the weekend; really? Well, I’m glad it worked out that way.
— Selection: Great selection. I know they carry basses, guitars, ukes, amps, etc. Not sure if they had another room in the back with drums, as I was pretty honed in on the ukes. They had a whole wall of ukuleles, and even larger selections in the guitars and basses. I had visited some music shops in LA that had maybe 4 ukuleles in the whole store.
— Price: I found a uke I wanted for ²⁄₃ the price I was expecting to drop, so I went ahead and got accessories and a nice case to round out the purchase.
— Assistance: I’m assuming the man and woman that helped me were the owners, they were very knowledgable musicians themselves and had all the details of their instruments and makers on lock. Most importantly, THEY WEREN’T PUSHY sales people. They genuinely want to help you find the instrument meant for you. I walked in and explained I had a little experience with guitars but non with ukes, so she started me off with different pros about the different styles and he made sure I knew how to tune them and gave some players insight. They made sure I knew to come to them with any questions, then let me have the space to just quietly commune with the ukes. Perfect! The guy that rang up my purchase was also super personable and offered me info on lessons (which I’d take if I lived there!).
Superb store, selection, and wonderful people! I’ll be back if I need anything else!

I’ve been a customer for half a decade now, so this review is for about 20 PA/​wireless mic rentals I’ve done over the years. Every time is the same as my last experience:
I rented a 2 speaker, pre amp, and wireless mic combo last week for my wedding. Everyone there is incredibly helpful and kind. They included two 50′ TS cables, all power cords, and an 1/​8″ to RCA connection to play music with.
Their prices are very competitive and didn’t break my wedding budget in the slightest. They even congratulated me on getting married when I brought the rental back in!
I highly recommend them for PA rentals.

This store is worth visiting when you are in SLO, they have a good selection of guitars, amps, and other instruments, they do repairs, and music lessons. I take Bass Guitar lessons here and the instructor is awesome! The sales people are very nice, it will surprise you, with no sales pressure.
