Love this place so much. It is run well, always different stock(like a treasure hunt), clean, friendly, and such a bargain. The healthy, organic, and vegetarian selections are amazing. You can’t fall in love with a product as they are always getting new items in. I, personally, like that they change a lot of items, you get to try all these different things. Keep it up Grocery Outlet, your customer service is wonderful.

This Grocery Outlet is the awesomeness of pure awesomeness!!! I work on the opposite end of SLO and have a 40 mile commute home and I purposely inconvenience myself to make a trip here on my way home. For one, they close at 10pm, yay!!! Sometimes I don’t leave work until 9 – 930, perfect!!! The wine selection is outrageously cheap(just like its sister store in Santa Maria) and has great selection. And what would a Grocery Outlet be without some of the kooky stuff? This location also houses the kooky stuff, but hey, this is Laguna Lake, so the kooky stuff is portrayed more«upper crust» but with the kooky sentiment. And a huge shout out to the closing shift crew who know I’m still in the wine aisle at 958 making up my mind, not pestering me to make a decision so that I can be rung up, paid, and out the door as soon as possible so they can lock the doors in two minutes. ANDNOW knowing that I will be gone in time for them to close and lock those doors on time because I’ve worked retail and customer service and know the feeling myself. Keep it up guys, and keep stocking all that great wine and cheese!!!

This store and it’s next door neighbor, the 99 cent store opened at the end of 2014. I live about ½ mile from the shopping center and walk there regularly just to scan for the fantastic bargains that pop up here and there. My favorites are the lunch meats(like Oscar Meyer low fat ham and turkey slices) that I can pick up for $ 1 – 2 per pound. I also like to get the yogurt when it is marked down for quick sale.(as low as 10 cents each for yoplait) Some days I leave with nothing, but other days I really find the treasures. Today I found 5 oz. packs of pomegranate flavored Craisins for 47 cents. Close dated cheese can sometimes be found for $ 1.50-$ 2.00/lb. I figure, when you are buying cheese that has already been aged for months, what difference does another couple of months make. I have not had any problems with mold. Off brand whole grain cereals can also be purchased for great prices(chex, wheat bran flakes, cheerios clones). The staff members are very friendly and on the couple of occasions I had to return an item, they quickly processed my returns with no questions. Between the Grocery Outlet and 99 cent store, my food budget has gone way down. The store is clean and area is pleasant.

Yes. I am so glad a grocery outlet finally came to SLO, this is a perfect addition to the area. This location is great. The store is designed well with an easy flow to it that makes shopping here very easy. The selection is great with a ton of local varieties of beer and wine. This site really understands the area with a large organic/health food selection. The staff are very friendly with a warm personal way about themselves that makes you feel like just another local even if you are from out of town. I love it and I am so happy it is here.

cheap place– nice for a college student. weird how they are switching products weekly… one time the only sandwich meat available was ham. next week they had roast beef, turkey, ham, pastrami, salami, etc.

An Odds & Ends Type of Grocery. The prices & limited selection is here is rather weird, but kind of fun at the same time. You make discoveries here & there & soon you filled up your basket with quite a few treasures for only $ 20-$ 30. You have to search & pick out the real bargains/treasures from among the not so quite bargains. The search may net you some good deals on anything from Pierogies to Cheap Halal Vegetarian Korean TV dinners which are quite taste & only $ 1.99 each. Who would know that I would like them so much that I drag them to my job for a light 10 Oz. lunchtime snack? They have a great bargain on fresh Orchid & other plants for only around $ 5.99. Quite a huge difference than the Whole Paycheck Market just a mile away! Some of their condiments, canned, packaged & bottled foods are great bargains. I even found some bagged«canned» in bag veggies that only $ 0.50 compared to the discount place next door which costs 98&1 Cents :) Some of the other stuff they offer… like the Organic section is nothing special. If you have the time to waste to find something that you like & it is worth coming here again, as you stop by the other stores in this strip mall… then it is worth your time… but you still have to go to a fully stock, full service Supermarket to grab your other essentials. The smiling check out service is very friendly & they always point out how much you saved on your odds & end. The extra star goes to them!

Great deals, friendly staff. I try to always shop there first, because they have such good bargains. Be prepared to buy more than you came for, they always have a little something more.

Very impressed with this grocery outlet. They have things like avocado and hemp seed oil which you pretty much can’t find anywhere for very affordable prices. All of their wines are under $ 13 and I picked up some local paso robles wines here. Most are like under $ 5. Crystal hot sauce(99 cents), gatorade(99 cents), and all the condiments and seasonings that you could ever need for very affordable prices. Also loved how they have my fave propel unflavored electrolyte water here for 79 cents. TIPS — Bring bags or else they’ll charge you for their thick plastic reusable bags.

You’re not going to meet all of your grocery needs here, but if you’re willing to find some bargains you won’t be disappointed. I do question the freshness of some of their produce and dairy(there was moldy cheese in the case), just pick carefully. Staff is friendly. Not too crowded(yet).
