Boyfriend and I came in here for a late snack. We don’t come here often, and I know I can’t expect much. BUT… a little background: I’m self sufficient and employed, and have no problem paying for my food. That being said, my bf often doesn’t want me to, especially for the 1 side of fries I ordered tonight. I walked off after ordering to use the restroom, and the kid behind the counter said, «Women. Always make you pay for shit.» To my boyfriend. What kind of professional worker would ever say that to a customer? Sorry kid, but you’re not gonna go far in life with that kind of attitude. Good luck.

Ordered 2 orders of 20 McNuggets, a McDouble and a large drink. They gave me my order and I luckily realized that they only gave me one order of 20 nuggets. I told them this and there oddly was no reaction on the employees end. He replied with«yeah the other 20 are in the fryer right now», which is weird since he said nothing about knowing this when he seemed to give me my «full order». Theory craft could take it away from there(hoping I dont realize and then they have a free meal? Possibly), but no matter the reason thats very poor customer service. The first 20 nuggets were also rubbery indicating an insufficient time of frying. The managers at this establishment must really not care about their customer service. No way to deny it seemingly.

They brought my food out to me and gave me so much ranch without asking. Service is great. Layout is fresh. Food is bomb.

I know fast food isn’t known for their cleanliness or customer service, but this is unacceptable. I paid for my food and asked for ketchup, and the woman gave me five packets for my three cheeseburgers and two medium fries. I respectfully asked for more and she said no. I then preceded to ask if I could pay for a few more and she said no. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. The spot is also a local hangout for part of the homeless population of San Luis Obispo and the cleanliness is sub-par, and that’s on a good day. I’ve visited this McDonald’s since I was a kid and now as a college student, it’s time to part ways. I’m consistently let down and it isn’t worth the hassle. Save yourself the burden and go to another place to eat. You will be disgusted and extremely let down with this unprofessional(even by fast food standards) establishment.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received at any McDonald’s. This was the one of Madonna around 1pm on Thursday. I walked up to order and there were two(Managers) standing up front talking with each other and the two other employees laughing and giggling as I stand there for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Finally one of the manager said«yeah what do you want» as he giggled to another employee. The immature managers both were so unprofessional and rude. I just stood there so shocked that McDonald’s would actually employ these kind of immature people. All I can say is «Shame on you McDonald’s»

McDonald’s is not our first choice for lunch on a getaway but we found ourselves hungry and in need of something quick. We stopped in at this walk-in-only McDonald’s and left very impressed with the restaurant. The food was standard McDonald’s but the restaurant was hyper clean and the staff was very polite. The shift manager Rodrigo commanded the ship from the register. This McDonald’s brings the food to your table. Impressive enough but they have another dining room employee clearing and cleaning tables as fast as customers finished eating. This may not seem like much but it actually made the visit more pleasurable than the average quick hit fast food stop. I don’t know if this is the direction the corporation is headed but if it is it’s a positive that could draw me in more often.

The menu is good. The artisan chicken sandwiches and artisan burgers are delish. Breakfast is always yummy. I’ve been patronizing this McDonalds for 12 years now. Never have had bad service, nor cold fries!

Words can’t begin to express how I felt when I tried to order an a la cart item and was told that they didn’t do that and that my order was wierd. When I asked for more creamer for my coffee the same young man was disinterested in helping. I did notice that I wasn’t the only one he treated that way. I know it’s the holidays and no one really wants to work but you shouldn’t blatantly show it. The rest of the crew including the manager were very polite and helpful.

Ordered two fries, two happy meals, two snack wraps, and two hot fudge sundaes to go. Fries were cold and not at all crisp, snack wraps were prepared with no sauce(only mayo). The cashier told me they’re out of honey mustard, so we asked for BBQ dip on the side. When he prepared the to-go bag, he forgot to put it in. Wraps were also too soggy. And to top it all off, the sundaes were already melted when we got it from him, as if they prepared the sundae first out of everything rather than at the very end.

I’m not a fan of McDonald’s, as a vegetarian, I don’t really want to eat only a salad, ice cream, coffee, cookies, fries, turnover pie. I’d like for there to be a hearty option. Many years ago, they once upon a time, offered the McVeggie. Well, came here for breakfast, but it was already over, so there goes my meal. I watched my friends eat their burgers and I munched on my fry order. Lame! The restaurant is clean, staff were really nice. Didn’t like that I had to ask for ketchup, what happened to pumping it into cups? Meh.

the good — clean place. very large and plenty of space and tables, so good for big groups. 24/7, I see groups of college kids all the time the bad — they mess up your orders constantly. one time, they gave me unsalted fries! they were basically plain potato sticks, unforgivable. AND they start serving breakfast at 3am and stop at 1030. my princess of a friend was NOT happy she could not get hashbrowns after a night in dt #drunchies if Joseph is working, ask for his soundcloud, he totally does not look like a rapper haha

It’s Mcdonalds. I never expect much and usually get the normal, 20 chicken nugget swith a large fry and a drink. The place was pretty clean and had a decent amount of seating. As for decorations, this place actually had several pictures on the walls instead of just advertisements. The fries were the same, crispy and fresh from the fryer(lacking a bite of potato though, just more of the fried outside and empty-ish inside). As for the nuggets, they were really limp and sad. Usually it’d be crispy and I would be able to peel the fried part off after a bite but the nuggets served were pale and just pitiful to look at. Final Thoughts: Good for a quick, late night meal but nothing more.

I arrived in SLO( ) San Luis Obisbo well into the evening. My freeway drive from SoCal was beautiful. But now I was hungry. Coming off of the FWY, my GPS didn’t give me a plethora of Fast Food dinner options. I actually parked my car and went in. Clean and safe locale. Clean bathroom. Safe to return here.

Our family dined in for an early lunch this past weekend and were pleasantly surprised with our entire experience. It was a pretty clean restaurant from the seating area to their bathrooms. The cashier was a little confused when we placed our simple order of two happy meals and a chicken wrap, but that is somewhat to be expected. Other than that we received our food pretty quick and everything tasted fresh. This was a great quick, cost effective option for a light lunch before heading out. *Tip: This branch doesn’t have a drive-thru.* #43 /100 Unilocal 100 Review Challenge 2014

So my 4 stars to 2(now 1 because I’m really fuming), because I’m really tired of dealing with these people at McDonalds. My previous tip and review improved because the new staff was an improvement and the bathrooms were clean, yada yada. That should be a given. Should be. And my last review was 4 stars because they had the ketchup tray available to customers. Now onto the part that really bugs me. For the longest time, I’d complain about them PROTECTING the ketchup packets with their lives. This McDonalds is the STINGIEST I’ve ever seen when it comes to ketchup. Their employees give you 3 – 4 packets for a large fry. Really? Granted, some people have no ketchup with their fries. But they used to(2 – 3 weeks ago) have a tray for self-serve, if you will, of the ketchup packets. You take as many as you need to ENJOY your meal. A lot of McDonalds have ketchup pumps where you just pump the ketchup into little paper cups and dip fries/nuggets/etc into them. But this place has not installed that for some reason. Literally five days after my tip and revised review praising management for this new improvement, they immediately HID the ketchup tray and are holding it hostage! I think you need to pay $ 20 for every 4 packets of ketchup. That’s the Ronald McDonald exchange rate over here in SLO. Also, on the stinginess of condiments. If a 10-piece chicken nugget meal = x2 condiments(ranch, bbq, whatever), then shouldn’t a 20-piece = x4 condiments. I mean, double the size, obviously double the condiment is needed. Right? WRONG. That’s right, they lied to you in the first grade! 1×2 = 2 but Ronald McDonald says 2×2 = 3!!! They give you 3 condiments with exactly double the size of your order. Every. Damn. Time. What’s more is that when you get up for the second or third time, to ask for more, they give you a look or say«what? more???» and then you feel like a nuisance instead of a customer. I must explain now, contrary to how my review sounds, I am not an everyday eater of McDonalds. I am huge on principal and good business policy. When I am paying nearly $ 10 for a combo or something I do not expect to get jipped on something that costs 10−15¢ for management which can almost ruin a $ 10 meal. I mean come on…

You don’t go into McD’s expecting greatness, but this one is worse than most. Almost all employees speak spanish to each other and talk sh! t about customers standing right at the counter. How do I know? I’m a white boy who speaks spanish but they don’t even consider that. If that isn’t bad enough the end of my fry was green(see pic). Considering the preservatives, I don’t even want to know how old the fry was to start growing mold. Won’t be back
