This should be ZERO stars. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to and I will not ever go back! My doctor called in two prescriptions yesterday. I went in today at 4pm and the clerk handed me one. I asked where the other was and she said she didn’t know…“maybe they had to order it.” Then she said I had to come back in 30 minutes because she had to re-bill since I had just given her my insurance card. When I came back she handed me the one prescription again. And again I asked where the other one was, and again she said she didn’t know. I asked her if she could find out(DUH!!), and she was gone for awhile(WHY didn’t she do this while I was gone?). When she came back she told me that this other Rx was no longer available and that the pharmacy would call my doctor tomorrow. WHY didn’t they do that when they realized it wasn’t available!?? So I asked her which one was I getting and which one was I not getting. I knew one was a crème and one was a cortisone, but I didn’t know the names of either because my doctor and I had talked on the phone. I never had anything in writing. She said«It’s for dry itchy skin.» I said, I know that(that was why I called my doctor), but is the cortisone the one I am getting or the one that isn’t available. She said — AGAIN -«It’s for dry itchy skin.» I said well I guess I will have to look it up on the computer. I will find another pharmacy in Morro Bay or I will drive to SLO.

I would give a lower review, but can’t. There was a time when people actually got a bag to carry items in, particularly if you were planning to buy half a dozen items. Apparently, that is just in times past… don’t know if they think that we have all grown another arm, or what. I hate to walk out to my car dropping items all the way, just because the store management is unable to see a basic need. I get that«now, we are all supposed to be socially responsible, use as few bags as possible.» But, when you actually NEED a bag(not want, but need) and the store simply has NONE… come on. Try thinking of your customers!

This is by far the worst pharmacy I’ve been to. The pharmacy techs are so incredibly rude. They act like they’re too busy for me. For example, I went in and dropped off a prescription and asked if my insurance covered it. She ignored me and said it would be 45 minutes until it was ready. I came back 4 hours later and it hadn’t been filled. They then informed me that my it wasn’t covered by my insurance. Why not call me? Another time, my doctor transferred my prescription in the early morning and I came late afternoon and they said they needed 15 minutes to fill it. I waited 30 more minutes. I instead recommend the CVS on marsh at the corner of broad street. The pharm tech and pharmacist that helped me were so sweet and acted like they actually like their job.

When Albertson turned me down to buy alcohol because of my companion’s lack of ID, Rite Aid was there for me. For that, this store gets a 5 star.

Four stars JUST for the ice cream! ;). Cookies and cream, rocky road. They even have PISTACHIO!!! It is SO good. Skip albertsons next door, just buy Rite Aid’s ice cream(ex Thrifty!).

I’be been using this pharmacy for a few years now. They changed their pharmacist sometime within the last year or so, and while I didn’t have any particular complaints with the old pharmacist, the new one, Riana Baxter, is wonderful! She’s very friendly, and has gone above and beyond more than once to help me get my prescriptions ironed out with my insurance. She seems to really care about helping people. Even though I moved out of SLO, I still come here for me prescriptions, because I’m not willing to take the chance that someone else will mess them up!

Get: The ice cream! Especially mint chip! Apparently, if you are a girl, they have make up that you might be into Pass: Everything else is pretty much overpriced This place really doesn’t have anything. I don’t even know what to call this store. its like a pseudo grocery, pharmacy, random stuff store. The only things I have ever bought here are ice cream :) beer, packing tape, and a pack of gum. Everything else is over priced or utterly useless. They sell a lot of random stuff that I am pretty sure no one ever buys — just go look down the aisles one day. Once in a while they have good sales on candy or gum or beer or something. The employees are usually terrible and unfriendly as well. But hey, they have award winning ice cream and its awesome.

Went here to get some packaging tape. I don’t really see why everyone on here is giving this place a one-star review. Everything was a-ok. I found what I needed, there were many different brands of packaging tape to choose from, and I was in and out of the store in a matter of 5 minutes tops. Didn’t have any experiences with the pharmacy though.

The pharmacy employees are quite unreliable. They will tell you to to come back at a certain time and your prescription will most likely not be ready and they will not call you to forewarn. I sat and waited for a prescription for 30 minutes today, and it was sitting there ready, they just didn’t notice. It was a very big waste of time!

Opened ten minutes late today… we needed batteries and knocked a couple times in case an employee was just behind a shelf or something and ended up walking into Albertson’s to kill time. The employees were bickering LOUDLY the ENTIRE15 minutes that I was there… I was sooo close to letting them know that myself and the other five customers did not want to know their drama… soooo unprofessional. Very disappointing.
