Friendly staff, tranquil and zen setting, sincere and informative consultation and great haircut at an affordable price tag! What more can you ask for in a salon? Oh, amazing aroma inside and a cute little dog; yep, they have those covered, too! I think I just found my new salon in San Marcos!

What? No option for 6 stars? This a great salon. Calming and serene. It’s nice not to have to sit and listen to loud, obnoxious music.
Neil cut and colored my hair. I have never received so many compliments! Very pleased and glad to have found my new stylist!

Ever walk into a place and say «oh drop ceilings. This place is awesome»? Yea me neither.
Two dudes. Both a little off. Small shop. Total amateur operation. I swear this guy thought he was an amazing artist –dressed like a 10 year old.
Honestly don’t remember the last time I paid this much for something and was this pissed. HE CUT MY SIDE BURNS UNEVEN. How hard is it to line up sideburns!!!

For the price and the service drive to Austin to get your hair cut. Its worth it. At the least, in Austin, you’ll get asked what drink you want, you’ll have an attractive young lady who knows the current styles cutting your hair.
Friendly staff, but charging this much for this place is ridiculous. Guy has no idea what he’s doing.

Best Aveda salon in the San Marcos/​San Antonio/​Austin area! Neil and Kelvon will make you feel like family, and their new space is bright and fresh, with the perfect space for their product display. They have some of the best prices for their services around, and will also work with the client to get them the best look possible. Be sure, like with any hairstylist, to communicate your needs or any concerns you have, and they will do the same, and give you an honest answer. Seriously, this place is worth the drive.

I love, love, love Neal and Kelvon. Warm and friendly men, lovely new salon, brilliant artists. I’ve been waiting for their new name to show up on Unilocal so I could give them 5 stars. :)
