I freaking love this place for some reason.
The FREE SKEET BALL in the back is MY FAVORITE! The pool table is only a $ 1! and pinball and other arcade games are only 0.25 $!! hot damn.
Call me weird but whatever, its a good time.
The prices are a little $$$ but nothing outrageous! The specialty drinks are igghhhttttt but I usually just go for beer. #texan

Overpriced drinks, disrespectful, arrogant, loser door guys, only let Hispanics in the bar without checking their IDs. Told my friend there was a weight limit and she exceeded it. No one cool comes to this bar, only creepers and bartenders didn’t even know what a butter nipple is.

If you like whiskey ask about the Whiskey Card so you can taste them all! They have an awesome selection here. This place is also great for a date because you can head to the back of the bar for to the game room that is full of things to do and they also have great well and domestic prices if your on a budget. Definitely stop in here if your visiting the square you won’t be dissapointed!

Cassie was my bartender. She was ok. Just ok however. I would recommend somewhere else if you would like good drinks.

My review is really for the drink I had because I really didn’t stay long and when I went it was around 7 – 7:30 ish so it was empty, which is expected of all the bars in the square really around that time. I ordered the lucky rabbit and surprisingly it was extremely good (not sure why I was expecting something worse) and the bar tender was friendly… not talkative, but friendly.

I had a great first impression of the place, until i was simply walking to the back bar and the bouncer walked through the crowd shoulder checking every single male he walked past. When i confronted him about it, he automatically got aggressive and pushed me and my 2 friends through a whole crowd of people out the door. And the door guy (fat while guy) did everything in his power to make me fight him. If the staff would just stick to their job without taking advantage of there authority it would be a great place to go. I do not see any logic in disrespecting customers for any reason.

I have been in here a few times and I always had a good time. Love the free skee ball, the bouncers are cooler than every place I have been in and the bartenders are real good and fast.

Every time I come in I have a blast, bartenders are always super nice, (which is a great change of pace from a lot of the other places around here).
Good drink prices overall, not the best but not the worst. I wish they had a cider on draft, but I’m just being picky now.
No lie, this is one of my favorite bars in the square. If you haven’t been, go. If you go, go more often. I wish them nothing but success.

I love Black Rabbit. In the clutter of questionable bars on the Square, where you may or may not get hit on by bros tossing back shots, you have this little diamond in the rough.
I love the bartenders, who aren’t schmoozy, just nice overall. Fast service, too.
They have great specials and events, like Build Your Own Bloody Mary on Sundays (AND free skee-​ball on Sundays) and $ 2 pint night on Mondays, which is my favorite time to come.
The games are awesome. Two pool tables, electronic darts, basketball, four skee-​ball lanes, Big Buck Hunter, Galaga/​PacMan, foosball… The skee-​ball does get jammed every so often, but it’s only $.25 per game, unlike other places who charge $.50 or even $.75.
And there is a decent amount of space– I’ve never had a problem finding a place to sit if the games are all occupied. There are tall tables, a small lounge area with flatscreens, and a long booth-​style seat which hugs the wall adjacent to the main bar. There are two bars, also, but the one in back doesn’t have the beer taps.
To top it off, the restrooms are usually very clean, and easy to find after a few beers.
I always bring people here when I get a chance to show off my favorite spots in SM.

Seems like a fun place to hang out and drink or play a game. The bartenders were really nice and they had lots of video arcade games as well as skeball and pool.
