Great precision hair cut!!!
Chartreuse hair salon is a great little place, easy to find and plenty of parking. Kim is the best hair-stylist that I have ever been to, she might be the best in the world… for me anyway. :)
She cut and colored my hair for about 10 years before I moved out of San Marcos to another state. I was gone from the area for 2 years and have now been back in Texas for 2 years, but in Austin. 4 years of searching and many disappointments, finally I was able to get an appointment with Kim a couple days ago. I am so happy, elated actually, to have the haircut I’ve been wanting for 4 long years! I highly recommend Kim and the girls at Chartreuse for all of your hair needs!

The salon is clean, cute, and has great local art displayed on the walls. This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back. Sherri is AMAZING! She clearly knows what she is doing. She is very personable, made me feel very comfortable, and gave me a fantastic haircut. I love how it looks. After four years in San Marcos, I am glad to have finally found a hair studio and stylist I love.

If you’re looking for a great local salon, you need Chartreuse in your life! The environment is wonderful, crossing an upscale and chic aesthetic with a welcoming, homey feel. Beyond that, you need to see Sherri. She’s exceptionally knowledgeable, often explaining her techniques as she executes them, and constantly asking your opinions as she works her magic. You can tell very quickly that she has a huge amount of expertise in her field (and others: ask her about archaeology!), and it shows in her beautiful work. My cut and color are just excellent. I really can’t recommend Sherri and Chartreuse enough!

Francisco is amazing. He is very creative and incredibly professional. He knows hair! He listens and always makes the best suggestions. Love my cut and my hubby’s hair looks great. Kim is a color genius and is so creative. The salon is adorable and they have great music and wine!
