My husband and I loved their Oceanside location, and since it’s closed now we’ve been visiting their other locations but unfortunately this one isn’t their best. Some pretty okay stuff, not super well organized but friendly and helpful staff. Would still visit sometimes but don’t think I’d go out of my way to go there.

If you have gently used clothing, books, household décor, and other items that you no longer use, Community Resource Center gratefully accepts your donations. I’ve made several visits to drop off my donations. The volunteers working here are always really sweet and friendly, and I’m so glad I have a quick and easy way to get rid of things that I don’t need anymore. They’ll give you a tax receipt for your donation so that you can get a tax deduction when April 15th rolls around once again!

I am giving 4 stars as is close to me in that I am in San Marcos and like to support business in the city. Note this charity has a number of locations, not all on their website(in fact none on their website) but the location I have also been to is in Oceanside off El Camino Real — the Oceanside location is definately more upscale and boutique like. This one is very«old school» thrift — marginal location and neighborhood, stuff kind of thrown together but some cool unique and deals to be had if you dig. There is also a location in Carlsbad and Encinitas. Pricing is a bit wacky — some stuff way over, some very low, maybe too low. as with all go early and often!

If you have items to donate I would suggest someplace else that is appreciative of your donations. The staff here are very unappreciative and unhelpful.
