I’m no seasoned disc golfer but this course is doo doo. We went Christmas Day and it was deserted which is nice except there are no clues where to park or where hole 1 is. We drove around looking, parked and walked and finally found the back holes but never did find hole 1. The sticker bushes were too much for me personally to walk through so we ditched without even playing more than a couple holes. I really don’t think they want anyone to play there.

Great course that maneuvers throughout the campus. There were some long holes which made it more challenging. The one change I would like to see is to cut the long brush and weeds on the early holes

This was a new interesting sport to me. The course is well setup throughout Cal State San Marcus Campus. Any level of skills can play this game. Recommend trying this sport out and have fun. Just download the map and score cards at: Rule #1 — Have fun, enjoy the course and your playing partners. Good karma = good disc golf. * Each hole starts at the tee sign and ends with the disc in the basket. * Count the number of throws from tee to basket. * Player farthest away from basket throws first. * Use of the disc golf course is at your own risk. * Wear shoes appropriate for light hiking or trail running. * Check the tee signs for distances and out-of-bounds. * Pedestrians and other campus users have right-of-way. * Blunt-edge discs only on Holes 9 through 16.(No Drivers) * Do not enter fenced areas to retrieve discs. * CSUSM is a drug– and alcohol-free campus. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.

Came here on a Sunday with my roommate and some family friends. I had heard about a course on the campus of Cal State so I thought I’d check it out. Hole One is right where Barham and Campus Way meet. Look for the parking structure and you’ll start to see the holes. Free course but you have to pay for parking. It’ll take you an hour to an hour an a half so bring some quarters. The first set of holes was a small dried up brush poky sock needle open space. Not my cup of tea. You go around the baseball field and throw around the track. The best part of the course is when you start going into the campus. Through the quad and around the science building. We went on a Sunday so their was no body around with no classes going on. Good place to go at least once just to throw around the buildings. Good Sunday spot when Morley Field is packed and Kit Carson is BBQ/Soccer nation.
