Great place to grab a good quality, cheap breakfast taco. She makes it right when you order it and gets it to you within minutes! The sauce is a little odd, but what really matters is the meal anyways. Highly recommend!

Best barbacoa tacos I’ve had. Corn tortillas, cilantro, squeeze of lime, tender ass meat, perfection. Great lunch spot in between classes.

HEAVEN ON EARTH! I’ve tried so many things and can’t wait to try more! Absolutely delicious, everything I’ve tried is perfection in my mouth. I just love it! I wish I’d discovered it sooner!

Good tacos, made to order, but SALTY. I could have ingested less salt if I had poured a salt packet into my mouth. The meat was so tasty but I couldn’t even finish my second taco because it was overwhelmingly salty. I could also use some spice, the two salsas I had were okay but neither had the kick I was hoping for. The green salsa had such a mild flavor that it was pretty worthless. If Lucy’s could cut back on the salt I could give them four stars, but my first trip was not as great as the reviews led me to believe it was going to be. Hopefully I’ll have better luck next time!

Lucy’s is amazing. Arguably the best in San Marcos and great prices. And Lucy is such a kind lady. I use to eat here a lot because it’s the closest thing to jowers where all my classes were!

I’ve been to Lucy’s taco stand several times now & I’m convinced she has the best tacos in town! I used to be a fan of Lolitas, but that place is going downhill fast. So if you want to save time and money. try this place out! All breakfast tacos are made with fresh ingredients and she makes your taco literally right after you order, so you know everything is homemade and not sitting out. The red and green sauces are amazing, and you can tell they’re also homemade and fresh. One of the best things about Lucy’s is that every time the owner wishes me a blessed day and goes above and beyond to accommodate my order requests! Everyone must visit this place!
