It’s your run of the mill froyo. Good, but not amazing. Prices can run pretty steep for a cup, but that’s to be expected.

Gross… dirty. 3 employees standing around talking didn’t even acknowledge any of the customers. I just don’t understand how all these yogurt stores are so filthy. Ugh

Love me some Menchie’s! It’s always good when they have my flavors. I usually go for the fruit flavors. Tonight I tried the«Marshmallow Mania» which is supposed to taste like a Peep… but it tasted like Butt! PASS! I chose Pineapple Sorbet and Peach! After Sushi(see other review) we always come to Menchies. Keep up the good work.

We had lunch in this plaza so sis took me to Menchies afterwards. It was my first time visiting Menchies and I must say that I was 100% impressed. The interior was so bright, inviting, and just plain cool. The two young staff members were so incredibly nice and welcomed us to try samples of the many frozen yogurts they had that day. There were even sample cups already laid out for us to take and sample as many yogurts we wanted. That was a first for me as usually you have to plead for more sample cups right. Sis and I settled on the same flavor to buy that day. Their regular tart flavor was nice and light. What really blew me away were the ample toppings Menchie had AND the way the staff meticulously kept all the topping areas clean. I had never seen the chocolate hard shell offered so I was incredibly giddy when I saw the self serve version of it here(it’s in a large container — kinda like a hot fudge dispenser). Sis and I both agreed that we would prefer a non-cool whip whipped cream(she got some not realizing it wasn’t the real deal whipped cream). OH! And they have chocolate covered whole fresh strawberries as a topping!(See pic) I’m not sure how much sis paid so not sure if the price per oz is fair or not. We also loved that their waffle bowls are charged by weight and not by ‘bowl’. I’d come back to try those waffle bowls. So happy to have finally gotten introduced to Menchies and can’t wait to re visit soon.

This was my first time at any Menchie’s location. The workers were friendly and little cups were laid out on a plate for you to sample as many flavors as you want. I liked that the gluten free flavors were clearly marked but then the toppings weren’t so people could get confused. There are a lot of toppings to choose from here including fresh cut fruit but the fruit all looked bruised and gross except for the mangos. The flavors were rather boring for my taste tonight. There was vanilla, chocolate, Reese’s peanut butter cup, dole pineapple, passionfruit, tart, coffee, java, and banana. I ended up getting tart with passionfruit topped with coconut, yogurt chips, mango and mochi. I liked that the mochi didn’t stick together and it was chewy. The mango was not really ripe yet but I should’ve known looking at the quality of all the other fruits. The tables were all dirty inside but it was too cold to sit outside. Won’t be coming back. I’ll just go back to Yogurtland.

i’ve often thought you could accurately profile someone from their buffet salad(don’t you think you could deduce somebody’s personality type by ogling the choices they pile on at SOUPPLANTATION) if you had the requisite skills. i’m pretty sure that’s true of frozen yogurt buffets as well. as a family, we were having one of those days when we needed something sweet to keep our collective heads above water. we were considering a doughnut run but it was already early afternoon and that meant VG’s was really our only option. so, we decided on MENCHIESFROZENYOGURT instead. the kids sample every flavor first before deciding on the same ones they get every time we stop by – they pull nearly the same stunt at the RITEADE ice cream counter. fortified with sweet treats, we hunkered down and plodded on toward evening.

As soon as you walk into this place the overwhelming great smell of the waffle cones being makes you smile throughout your visit. I got the Cheesecake! I recommend this one, Kiwi, or Peanut Butter. Toppings were mostly good, however a few of the toppings were hard as a rock.

This was a fun new place to visit. It was clean and lots of great flavor to offer for every type of craving. Will visit this place often since my daughter relocated to the area.

It seems that froyo places are a dime a dozen nowadays but Menchies is a tried and true spot. They have various locations all over… my first taste was in Scottsdale, AZ a few years back. The first thing that hits you when you walk into a Menchies is the circular design of the self serve froyo machines centered around the circular cash register counter. The place is fun and decorated with bright colors and designs making it a great place for the kiddos. As most froyo places are, there are not many tables or seats as most people pop in and take their treats to go… but there are a few tables if you are thinking of enjoying your creation right then and there. I enjoyed their flavor selection and their toppings… better than some of the other, more generic froyo places out there. Yogurt land is still my favorite all time but Menchies is quite up there as well. Love the location as it is so convenient to stop in after a meal at a nearby restaurant or after working up an appetite shopping at Nordstrom Rack. Enjoy!

On a holiday weekend this place was open; not too packed & the guy working there kept the place very clean. You can try all the flavors and add all sorts of toppings that your heart and eyes desire. Not too expensive. 5 cups were $ 21.

Cute little yogurt place. My boys enjoyed sampling the flavors till the decided which one they wanted to get. At the end of the visit there was yogurt all over their faces which means it was definitely enjoyed fit them.

1st time here at this location. The name of this business looked very familiar as well as the décor and could have sworn I’ve been to a Menchies before. I asked the cashier if they had a location in Orlando and she had said they are a large company and didn’t know at the top of her head. So i looked it up and they did have a location in Orlando whic I’ve been to. Atmosphere: Very colorful décor. Kinda small place for froyo but they did have a few tables inside as well as outside. self serve yogurt with variety of toppings, fruit, and syrups. Came here after dinner around 8pm on a Sunday and it was somewhat busy. I can see that this place can get very busy since its surrounded by other restaraunts in a large plaza. Frozen Yogurt: Great varieties and clearly decorated and labeled. Sample cups are available by the register. My go-to flavors. — plain tart –chocoalte i did sample the dole pineapple and it is clearly on point as the dole whip at disneyland. however, i still stuck to my favorites and the plain tart was perfect! as well as the chocolate not too sweet just right. Service: friendly. helpful. no complaints. Overall: Had a great quailty plain tart and chocolate flavors as well the dole pineapple. Usually i’m in and out at other locations but this place was moderatly busy in a small compact place to top your froyo. if i’m in the area i’ll stop by but froyo love still my go-to and closer to where i live and they have captain crunch and other cereal toppings this menchies does not.

Good stuff. Right down the hill from where I live, it has become the family’s fave treat. Please bring back salted caramel. Pretty please. A few other«please adds» * a few low sugar versions, including just a vanilla * add peanut butter sauce Good prices and a really gracious owner/manager.

The yogurt tasted really nice. We ended up getting the chocolate yogurt and sprinkled some white chocolate morsels on top. It was great that they let you taste samples of the yogurt so that you can taste the different flavors, such as the churro yogurt. Sign up for their free membership and you can start saving up points for some free yogurt

Menchie’s is Always producing the next great flavor. I like their new flavor Nutella and the power pomegranate Acai. The Carrot Orange Boost sorbet is a big hit w/the kids. I’ll be back… Again and again.

Menchies in San Marcos is great. It is self service and they have several flavors and combinations to choose from. AND… their flavors taste on point! They make it easy to taste the flavors which is awesome. There is a plethora of toppings(dry, fruit, fudge, etc.). Everything is always clean and well stocked. You can also purchase bottled water or previously packed yogurt pints. This location gets pretty busy. There are seats inside as well as outside. The employees are friendly and if you join their club you can earn points towards money off a future purchase. Good deal! This location is near some restaurants and in the Grand Plaza shopping center so it’s very convenient after having lunch or dinner. Parking is a bit of a challenge right in front of the store when it’s busy, but there is a giant parking lot in the plaza; you would just need to walk a bit to get there. Totally worth it. This location is actually out of the way from my house and I have another frozen yogurt shop right down the street from me. However, I prefer Menchies over the other place and make the drive for it. You won’t be disappointed.

I went here only because I was in the area and my mom and I were craving frozen yogurt. I wasn’t too impressed for a few different reasons: 1.) super crowded and there is no form of directions for anything there so it was pretty ridiculous to have to maneuver in every which way just to try the frozen yogurt and even the toppings. 2.) although they did have quite a few different flavors, I didn’t enjoy over 90% of them. Plus, the toppings were just average and they were out of popping boba :( 3.) the employees were not attentive and had the attitudes when we checked out and asked for tops for our yogurts. I’ll give this place another shot in hopes that they have better frozen yogurt flavors and the employees are in a better mood!

Great flavor selection! I’m not a fruity type of froyo guy, and this place had a lot of good non fruit flavors I liked! The only flavor that wasn’t accurate was cookie dough. Cake batter was on fleek lol. Although I didn’t get a waffle bowl, the smell of the waffle cones is sooo good. This place and Yogurtland are definitely 1 and 2 for my froyo needs, and I love froyo. Very creative, and tasty flavors. Unless the pricing is per location, and I didn’t catch the price per ounce, Menchie’s is a tad on the expensive side. That’s why it’s ranked just behind Yogurtland for me. Still great though and I’d definitely recommend this place to anybody. Their topping section had chocolate covered strawberries, great sneaky and tasty way to get our ounces up haha.
