Drive thru Mexican food is nice and easy. The flautas were delicious. Topped with sour cream, pico de gallo, guac and cheese. You wont be disappointed. Granted, not a healthy choice… but who comes here to eat healthy anyways?

I live in Vista but drive all the way here kuz this place is so good they make the BEST MEXICAN FOOD! Today we ordered a ceviche tostada n oh my all other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to use frozen shrimp but this place makes it with fresh shrimp n that’s not all they sure pack it with lots of shrimp! The outside of this place doesn’t look that great but don’t let that keep you from trying this place out.

Just ordered a California burrito, and was extremely disappointed. The potatoes were really hard, and greasy. They put too much carne and not enough cheese and potatoes. I don’t think I’ll be coming back after this.

The food here is great, very good Mexican food unlike any other, but the service is horrible. Whatever happens to service with a smile, the cashier with no welcome what soever, and it’s not just a day thing I’ve been here multiple times and it’s still the same, now there’s other cashiers that do give the warming welcome but this one really doesn’t care about customer satisfaction. We asked for chips and she wouldn’t give us any because they were only for dine in guests.

Typical no frills Mexican food dining room. We don’t eat here for ambience, we eat here because it is soooo good! We drive-​through 99% of the time. Very fresh and hot. It is outstanding. Generous portions. Carne Asada perfectly seasoned. Quesadillas with their hot salsa is so great and melty. Their flour tortillas are not too thick. Shredded tacos are sooooooooo tasty. This is not health food. We tend to just bring the food home, shut up and eat. Food coma to follow. be patient in the drive-​through; they make your food to order, fresh. Go here!!!

Fresh, hot food with generous but not overwhelming portions. Free chips when you eat in. Excellent hot salsa with a good punch. Been a regular for years. Today, we came for brunch. Hubby had the fish burrito with extra white sauce. I had the machaca burrito. Meat was very lean and the sautéed green bell peppers and onion were cooked perfectly… just a bit al dente. They are always friendly too. I see they are adding more healthy options such as bowls, which is nice and shows they are keeping an eye on customer preferences and the competition. They make great breakfast plates and soups too!

Exceptional breakfast burritos home made tortillas, non greasy ingredients and the price you can’t complain about I will be here again to try more of the food. I was very pleasantly surprised I didn’t expect this level of food from the place as its a lil divey. The place got packed and the posole looks amazing

Tacos are good, Nachos… Lordy! For $ 8.50 DO NOT ORDER THE NACHOS. YOU only get small amounts of toppings on top of chips. Under 1st layer, NO TOPPINGS! Shoot might as well order chips alone.

I live close by and have eaten here many times but never got around to rating them until now.
Pancho’s may not look like much on the outside but if you’re looking for good quality stick-​to-​your-​ribs Mexican food at a decent price, it’s pretty solid. The girls at the counter are always friendly too. They’re usually busy so your food might take a few minutes if there is a rush but it’s usually not too bad.
I’m a creature of habit so I tend to order the carne asada burrito, nachos, or fries and haven’t been disappointed yet. A lot of good food for not too much money.

Let’s see I haven been coming to this place for over 5 years.
Its good authentic Mexican food. The shrimp ceviche is very tasty and the portions are hearty.

I give it 3 stars because we waited over 10 minutes to get our food and we were the only car.

Came here 3 times in the last 30 days to try different things.
First up, stopped by early and got the Chorizo&Eggs Breakfast Plate. Chorizo and eggs were on the dry side and flour tortillas became hard after a few minutes. Wouldn’t Recommend!
Next up the Carne Asada Torta. GOOD SIZE. although it lacked flavor. But there Salsa made up for the flavor. It’s good stuff.
And lastly after telling someone I wasn’t going to go back. They recommended the Surf and Turf Burrito.
Shrimp, Carne Asada, Rice, Cheese Chipotle Cream.
It was Bomb! They totally redeemed themselves!!!

I’m on the search for my favorite Mexican food place in San Marcos and so far Señor Pancho’s, AKA the train, has taken the lead.
Carne Asada Nachos: jalapeños, sour cream, beans, cheese, guacamole, and juicy chunks of carne asada. The chips where crispy, the carne asada was not over salted, and it was hot even when we ordered 10 minutes before closing on a Tuesday night.
Fish Taco: crispy piece of fish, with a nice amount of the cream sauce, cabbage and poco de gallo. Not my favorite in San Marcos but I did really enjoy it!
Salsa: my favorite salsa was their hot orange brown salsa, it was just spicy enough with a strong punch of flavor.
Overall, I would definitely come back to have their carne asada nachos. Next on the list is to try their carne asada fries, their carnitas, their adobada and their chile relleno.
This was a good find.

I have visited here several times while visiting San Diego and now that I live here it was one of my first stops. Its such a great quick stop for Mexican food. I love the carne asada burrito and heuvos they serve here. There is just something about it here
