Here for the first time in forever to grab lunch for a hungry co-​worker. Order came out in a reasonable amount of time despite the number of cars. Server apologized for the wait – I remember the popcorn chicken takes longer than other orders but didn’t think I’d been made to wait excessively – and everything was correct.
My only whine was my grilled cheese wasn’t particularly toasty/​melty; guess they finished & bagged it before the chicken was done.
The chicken-​only co-​worker was in love with her medium popcorn chicken and large fries, which I think was around 8.50. Seems high when I could get fried chicken, side and a drink for that at a local chicken shack.

There’s nothing better than chomping down on a Footlong Coney and washing it all down with a Strawberry Limeade with extra strawberries after a long day of shopping at the outlet malls in San Marcos. Even with the high traffic we were able to get our food pretty quickly. We hung out at the patio for a while and a couple of people came out a couple of times to make sure we had all the condiment and napkins we needed. Great service.
