I am right there with the others of having every appointment cancelled the day of(3xs in a row within 3 months). And even if I call and text back immediately, no response whatsoever. And to go online and try to reschedule? Ridiculous because the next appointment avail is 3 weeks out! I have the 6pack of microdermabrasion facials. I tried contacting Groupon to get a refund. Waiting to hear back. I even texted the owner that I was. Of course, no reply. COMPLETELY unprofessional way of running a business. If you have to cancel the day of you should be CALLING your clients so that they can reschedule immediately and you should accommodate the client’s schedule at this point. And I love their cancellation policy… she should follow that herself.

I purchased a groupon deal for this company and was unsatisfied with their business ethics. I was able to use 2 out of 4 services purchased through a Groupon purchase, but on the third attempt to used the coupon I was notified through email about the canceling the apoointment the morning of my appointment. When I called them they had advised me it was an error, but by that time I was unable to go in because it was my WEDDINGWEEK and had other appointments to attend to. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, but for the 2nd time this company cancelled on me. I was notified via text message by Jennifer’s husband stating she was ill, again the morning of my appointment. I attempted to reschedule my appointment by calling, texting them numerous times, but no response from this business. I would not recommend them due to their lack of character. I had read a previous review on Unilocal how another customer had the same bad experience. I should have taken that into consideration. Live and learn!

Just like other reviews mentioned, I had a very good first facial. I am very selective when it comes to facial services, but I was pleased with Jennifer’s knowledge and overall my experience. I scheduled another facial right away. However, I got a cancellation text an evening before my appointment. It just said it had to be canceled due to provider being sick. Ok, I understand that, we all get sick. However, no one tried rescheduling it. I called, and texted, and nothing! It’s very frustrating and unprofessional!

Bought a series of microderm treatments on groupon. I was looking for a place to get monthly facials or microderm for my aging skin. I got a great deal and overall, have been happy with the service itself. I’ve bought other microderm treatments on groupon and this was by far the best value. The aesthetician was knowledgeable and did a great job. She uses her own line of skincare. I thought I’d found my go to place. My main problem is the frequent short notice cancellations. For each of my last FIVE monthly appointments, I’ve received a text in the morning cancelling the appt. I understand things coming up and childcare issues, etc, but this is getting ridiculous. One or two times, I can understand but it’s to the point, that I now expect a cancellation the morning of my appt. I have yet to be disappointed. At least provide 24 hrs notice. Rescheduling is not convenient either. I’m hesitant to commit to another package or their monthly membership program, both options I was definitely interested in exploring until now. Bottom line, if you don’t mind almost certain last minute cancellations and have a flexible schedule on a budget, this is the place for you.

I purchased a Groupon for 2 microderm treatments for my husband. He said the service was good and he liked the session, which is ultimately what matters. However, he had a very difficult time getting ahold of anyone over there. He finally got his 1st appointment and it went well. The 2nd appointment was cancelled at 7-ish a.m. the day of the appointment due to a childcare issue. I fully support parents and can sympathize with the situation. He was given an option to reschedule for Thurs or Friday at 11 am, so my husband responded to the text requesting Thurs at 11. He didn’t hear back but thought the appointment would be honored since he was asked what day he preferred. He showed up at the rescheduled day and time, no one was there. He tried contacting someone again, but has not heard from anyone. As I mentioned, I do sympathize with parents and childcare issues– but not showing up for appointments, not returning calls or texts is disappointing and a bit unprofessional.

I bought a Living Social coupon for a micro-derm treatment. What a wonderful experience I had. The place is not fancy but clean and very professional. Every record is done with an iPad & up to date. The owner/esthetician is very experienced & clearly loves what she does. She explained the entire procedure in great details & gave me many helpful tips to take care of my skin. She has many specials for treatments. I am looking forward to try her other treatments.

I bought a daily deal for this and went for my treatment today. Jennifer is super nice. I don’t know how she does it being a business owner with small kids and a little one due soon. She has a great online booking system with reminders. Everything done electronically in terms of forms. She did not try to sell me on any products or skin care. My treatment was a micro-dermabrasion but I ended up getting almost a full facial with extractions… good deal. She has coupons in the get1free magazine and monthly memberships. In San marcos, very easy to find and get to just west of Jerome’s furniture I will go back and it is unfortunate the negative reviews she has had written because she had urgent medical issues and they could not be reasoned with.

This is North County’s best hidden secret for facials there is no two ways about it and well everyone knows that when I write a review it’s because I’m very satisfied this goes far and above happy… I’m ecstatic I went in on a Groupon for two micro-derms the first one was just perfect Jennifer clearly know’s knows whats up and she took care of me in a nice way, however I’m 50 and I broke out bad let me describe bad, does pepperoni pizza, Jackson Pollack or a 17 year old boy on his worst day bring up any images it was that bad. So I upgraded my second one to a chemical peel«WOW» amazing in 3 weeks nothing my face is like a porcelain doll and that’s no joke I did one last micro-derm today and when I walk in Jennifer looked at me and was shocked her face dropped she was OMG your face looks amazing, my co-workers notice friends and family all say you just look great. I bought some one bottle of green-tea face wash there some organic stuff and I gotta tell you me not being the biggest tree-hugger in California what this daily wash did for my face in conjunction with my visits was the perfect. I will always go and take my business to Jennifer and now I’m a tree-hugger for life.

I was excited to purchase the 60 minute facial &60 minute massage for a couple. It was a good deal & I made my appointment more than two weeks for me & my husband but today, a week before the appointment the owners husband called me and said we have to re-schedule some other time. The Product Spot said they can only do a couple’s facial and massage is not available for the day of our appointment. I was offered a different day but we can’t do weekdays since we both work. Very disappointed since I have that day planned already. I should have believed the other review that she also got a phone call to cancel the service & re-schedule. They were claiming she’s alone & to my understanding she can’t commit as much. In my opinion, if there’s an advertisement for a certain deal the business should be able to give what the consumer expects. Stop selling deals that you can’t give & get more help for your business. I’m getting a refund from Groupon since I’m very disappointed with the hassle of rescheduling when all was confirmed & didn’t pass my high expectations.

What a wonderful experience I had at The Product Spot! I used a Living Social coupon for a Microdermabrasion session. The place is in an odd spot(over by Jerome’s Furniture and the Antique Mall), and it is small, but it was clean, comfortable, and I was taken back early for my treatment. Jennifer was very sweet and knowledgeable taking quite a bit of time to talk to me about my concerns and issues and then explaining the procedure. She cleansed my face, then did the microdermabrasion. She then gave me a mini moisturizing facial to make my skin dewy soft. It was WONDERFUL and I will definitely be going back!

Do not buy this groupon it is a scam. The woman who owns this«business» has other business names on Unilocal with horrible reviews. The skin spot and Jennifer Ann Spa and Wellness. I had the same experience as the other woman. I made an apt and I received a text message the morning of from her husband claiming she was sick and I would need to reschedule. I have contacted groupon for a refund.
