the manager says«no bathroom privileges for the filthy public». I can’t believe it. I’ve been a loyal customer to Tuttle lumber in San Marcos for 30 years. hundreds of thousands of dollars spent. I know all the old timers by name. I’ve spent 10,000 dollars in this store in the last 2 months. After 4 hours the other morning putting together all of my electrical for a large remodel. Yes I could go to home depot or lowes but I chose to spend local with local people. After 4 hours and two cups of coffee, I asked to use the restroom. the manager look me in the eye said«we don’t let the PUBLIC go back there anymore». I thought he was joking because the way I was raised was customer is your favorite neighbor. Scratch that the customer is the boss. Scratch even that the way I was raised is your customer is your best friend. Not to this guy. you can’t go to his house and eat dinner and expect to use the bathroom. I’m sorry Mr Manager that we the PUBLIC are beneath you. About the time that I really had to go and he was saying” no”, the morning salsa kicked in and I really needed to go. so I left the store without product. happy to my eyes to see across the street«Old Faithful» Wilson Riggin Lumber. I peeked in the door. they had to see me walk across from Tuttle. «can I use your restroom? » …“Of coarse“she said. they have everything that Tuttle has and at a great price. the family feel is unbeatable. boycott Tuttles. go to Wilson Riggin
