Walked into Massachucettes Mike’S and found it too expensive. But Mike’s had nicer décor. So, went to Two Brothers and ordered an extra large w one item, which was under $ 19 after tax. I thought it too was a bit expensive but the quality is first rate. I’ll mark it $$ but great value. And excellent fast service. Possibly best crust anywhere. Not your typical burnt brick oven crust, but a perfectly baked fresh bread like crust, the way pizza should be. Generous with cheese, and altogether very tasty.

This is in the crazy circus of a shopping center with WinCo, In n Out, Phil’s BBQ, etc., so there are a lot of choices! Parking can be nuts, with stop/no stop intersections and multiple exits nearby, so work on your offensive driving skills(you’re gonna need all the help you can get!) This is a small quick-service setup, with slices and other items waiting in the glass case to be reheated when you order them. We went for lunch, and chose a couple of the lunch combo specials. Mom had the lasagna, of course, which came with a fairly large salad. The salad was good, an Italian style basic green salad with olives, tomatoes, onions, and peperoncinis(could’ve used some cucumber…). The lasagna was good, and a huge portion. She’s got enough left for a couple of lunches. I had the stromboli combo, with a drink. I have always loved stromboli, and it’s not easy to find a good one. The minute I found out that they had a spaghetti & meatball stuffed stromboli, there was no way to order anything else! A large slice portion had spaghetti on one side, and a meatball with cheese on the other, all trapped in the dough. It came with a side of sauce, and it was very delicious! They took this over from a previous pizza place, so they inherited a few of the problems. The booths are duct taped, and there isn’t much seating. They deliver though, so you can stay home to avoid the frenzy. I’m glad to find a dependable and affordable Italian inexpensive restaurant, and we will be back. Is it bad that I already want more stromboli?

Very friendly staff! The food was delicious and the service was quick and efficient. I live closer to 2 other of the Two Brothers locations, but the staff makes the San Marcos location the best!

3 Stars are for the pizza exclusively. Service was good, very friendly. Dining looked clean and nice. Pizza was disappointing. Had been meaning to try this place for a while and was let down. The photos on Unilocal speak for themselves, this is nothing even close to Italian or new york style. Crust is thick and heavy. Cheese wasn’t cooked enough. The sauce is the weak link though, it is bad. The flavor of the pizza reminds me of high school cafeteria square pizza(it is better than that though). I would put it just a hair above the typical chains like Dominos/Little Caesars etc but far below Round Table and all other local places around San Diego. I wouldn’t have been so critical it is were a $ 6 carry out special but was not even close to worth the $ 16. I cant comment on the other things on the menu but dont think ill be back to try them.

Went over here for a quick dinner today. It was pretty good! The pizza was crisp and cheesy, as it should be, and the garlic bread was OK! I feel the side dishes should be tastier, but the awesome pizza and reasonable prices make up! Will dine again if I’m in the area!

Good Pizza, Sandwiches, Calzones, and service. Grew up near Philadelphia with over a dozen pizza places in my home town and this place is about as close as it gets to a north east pizza shop. Lunch specials are priced right, 2 slices and a drink, ravioli, spaghetti, etc… White pizza is my favorite veggies and garlic, yum…(sorry Mr. Faraco, not easy for me to make it back east — ).

Really like their stromboli. Pizza and calzones are good too although I found the spinach and ham calzone to be very bland. Otherwise, love this place for a good lunch special or splitting a stromboli with the fam

After frequenting Two Brothers form Italy often(sometimes three times a week), I wanted to provide an update. The food is still awesome! I find the pizza’s the best but the pasta’s are pretty decent too. I’ve gotten to know some of the employees and they treat me great. Eg they see me coming and already start pouring my chianti. Jay is the manager but he’ll be leaving out of state at the end of the year — he will be missed. Two other employees there that are outstanding are Luis and Hugo. Ask Luis to make your pie — he’s simply the best. I took my nephew a while back and he loved it. He’s a great judge of taste as he used to work for a pizza place before that also has good pizzas. If they have it, get the Sicilian deep dish pizza. It’s as great as the service.

Pros: Super friendly staff, Fresh ingredients, Coupons(Local Flavor) Cons: Pizza, meh. Pepperoni is flavorless. We splurged outside of dining budget — bf and I both disappointed

Pretty Good Pizza. Easy to find next to Jamba Juice in the shopping center with the Phils BBQ. There’s plenty of parking, but bc of Phils and In & Out the parking lot can be nuts around dinner time. Inside it feels very much like a mom and pop shop, theres not much seating. A good point of reference is that its the same size as the Jamba Juice it’s next to, which is the size of most every Jamba Juice ever. Most people do take out, which i might do next time, but the service was okay. There’s really not much interaction with a server out side of placing your order at the register, they just bring your food out to you, but they were nice. Our food did take about 20 – 30 minutes to come out, but its was pretty busy on a Friday night, mostly take out orders. I ordered a small original calzone and a slice pizza(best of both worlds!) and my gf ordered the lasagna & ravioli. The fact that they had sizes for their calzones i thought was awesome, the small was easily enough to feed two people. The original calzone could also be called the meat lovers calzone with ham, pepperoni, sausage, ricotta & mozzarella cheese. It was very filling, but really tasty, exactly what you’d expect from a calzone. The marinara sauce that it comes with however leaves something to be desired, it was a little bland for my taste. Luckily the calzone was very enjoyable with or without the marinara sauce. My last note on the calzone would be that the dough was really good, it was definitely part of the reason my calzone was so good. Next my pepperoni slice, really good dough/crust, good cheese to sauce balance, it was a good slice of pizza fer sure, but not ground breaking. I can’t say much for my gf’s dish but she said it was good, no complaints there. Overall this is a great edition to the Italian/pizza spots in San Marcos/Escondido. But there’s not many good pizza places here in my opinion. I can’t think of another place that has calzones so that’s really cool to have some locally. I might be back, i’m really not sure though, only because I really like Killer Pizza from Mars, and Filippi’s. Only time will tell.

First visit into this town(San Marcos). This place is good: various pizza and slices, friendly employees, and a good atmosphere. I would’ve taken pics of the food, but was starving like Marvin Next time I’m in San Marcos, I will definitely come here.

Delicious Pizza! Awesome Garlic Knots! Tasty Calzones! OMG People!!! This place just hits it out of the park! I am a person who cuts carbs and eats a mere 20 net grams for like 10 days, and then says oh hell I need some pizza right about now! If you are looking for yummy pizza/calzone/pasta and don’t care about carbs or calories, then head to Two Brothers From Italy, because the fabulous food you will enjoy is worth every carb laden calorie! I will now be a regular, and on my next visit I will try the lasagna, it looked absolutely divine in the Unilocal photos and I must try it soon!

Okay I am going to break this review into a good and bad list since this was the most mixed review I have felt in a while. PROS The food. I got the pizza slice(pineapple pepperoni) and a small antipasto salad with Italian. It was really good and the slices are huge. The discounts. I love that not only did they have lunch deals but that there is a big list not just a slice and soda like most places. I was in there a little after lunch was over but the girl still allowed me the discount. It was clean. CONS First impression of the place is its very hard to find, tucked In between two corner stores you actually have to LOOK for the small entrance and sign. There were four people working. One cook and THREE on register. The young girl at the counter asked my friend that has allergies right off the bat if she was high. Ummm okay, welcome to you too. Yes why we want to eat! LOL she didn’t really listen to either of our orders and got it wrong but that’s okay since she applied above discount. The wait. Oh it was horrendous. There was my friends order and one other in front of me. I ordered a slice and small salad. I waited 40 minutes, but the worst part was it was freezing with the saddest love songs playing, one tv was playing soccor and the other was news about the worlds biggest disasters in the past decade. Doesn’t sound THAT depressing well, do it for 40 minutes while waiting on that slice.

I’ve eaten here several times and can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet! This cute place offers authentic Italian food. The owners are from Italy. The restaurant is a little small, but I’ve never had an issue with finding a seat. Their ravioli is to die for and is by far my favorite dish. However, I have to watch my calories so I have recently been ordering a side of meatballs with salad. The marinara sauce is delicious and the meatballs are not made with a bunch of filler. They are so good and a great size! They have generous portions with all of their dishes. The sandwiches are also amazing. I LOVE that they toast them. Heavenly. My boys like their pizza and spaghetti. I’ve eaten in the restaurant and also had it delivered. The employees are always helpful and friendly and never seem annoyed with my «special» meatball request. Definitely recommend Two Brothers for really great Italian food. In my opinion, no place compares.

First impression: 9:20pm saturday night, we couldnt tell if place was closed bc it was empty. Most dining areas were clean. The menu was pretty standard but I thought the prices were unusually high for a dive. You could come in a tshirt and flip flops — no problem. The first thing I say when I walked in was thick slices of old looking pizza. This place got such high ratings but I was shocked by their prices. Ill leave rest of review after we eat. They started to roll up mats and sweep and mop before we left, stacking chairs., before we had even gotten our food. Thats a bit awkward… Our calzone was good, the pizza dipping sauce tasted like it couldve come out of a jar. A lot of meat and the sausage wasn’t super greasy. The calzone was cooked perfectly and it wasnt overly dough-y, which was nice. The girl working the register was very upbeat. Good place for lunch Im guessing. Not for date night w/the boyfriend.

This place is awesome! Great pizza and great staff. Example 1: Showed up to pick up my pizza and it wasn’t quite ready, but I was thirsty so I wanted to purchase a drink. They wouldn’t let me and insisted on comping me a drink. Example 2: we typically go ½ and ½ on pizza so the kids can have cheese only on their side. However tonight I just wanted a two slices of cheese only as I was also getting the kids spaghetti. Upon arrival the owner(I think) told me he forgot to leave a portion of my XL pizza with just cheese so he comped me a Med cheese pizza for the kids. They also have coupons on their website.

Very friendly service and Epic portions! I actually didn’t even try the pizza I went straight for the chicken calzone because it looked delicious on display. I ordered a small Chicken Calzone and was really impressed with the monster that came out. It was literally enough food for two people. The crust was just the right mix of soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The chicken was great and the cheese complimented it very nicely. The marinara sauce added to the calzone quite a bit and they were very nice about giving us extra at no charge. The people working the counter were very funny and friendly. They walked by our table a few times to crack jokes and make sure we liked the food. For a quick bite where you get a lot for your money and warm service, this is certainly the place.

Good pizza. They sell it by the slice too. My favorite is their margherita! Fresh tomato and cheese on a crispy dough! The flavor was good. The other one I like was the eggplant. Prices are not the cheapest, but definitely reasonable for freshly made and baked gourmet pizzas, on top of the regular ones like pepperoni and cheese. They have fewer than 10 tables there plus open bar seating. Most people order on the phone and come here to pick up the food. They do delivery as well. There are TVs for sports while you eat pizza and drink beer. Being in the shopping plaza close to CSUSM, this pizza place attracts a lot of students. Good place to grab pizza while you don’t have time to cook! I wouldn’t say this place is anything special special for the weekend, but definitely a good local neighborhood pizza shop for the week! Will come back again for more delicious pizza!
