So I’m 24 and maybe i look younger but anyways going on with the story… so i went to my local citibank to reverse some charges that were not my fault it was due to mistake at the bank. I’ve never had any problems with any other bank about mistakes that they made on their behalf, however when i went in and told the manager the manager for some reason started blaming me about it. Totally unprofessional, if it were my fault i would be the first to admit it but this was their mistake and she talked to me as if i was a child starting to lecture me about being irresponsible and ultimately someone else helped me. Terrible experience, maybe it was a one-​time thing maybe she’s just rude; this was just my experience. i will be closing my account.

I use to bank with CalFed for years and years until Citibank finally bought them out.
Although initially I wasn’t too pleased with the merger (erroneous monthly fees popping up on my statement, fees for checks, money orders, you name it), this location has changed my mind and kept my a loyal customer for life.
Here the tellers are always friendly (I even got great advice from one of the tellers there… don’t remember his name. some Indian guy) and smile when they see you.
I once had a odd fee pop up during my time with this bank, but after reviewing the charges, they were quick to correct it and apologize about their error.

I’ve banked with Citi for 10 years and never had a problem. I’ve never had deposits placed on hold (might be because I don’t deposit enough), never had erroneous fee assessments, never experienced bad customer service — in fact I’ve received a phone call for suspicious activity that was in fact mine.
I hesitate to give them 5 stars because I know many people have had bad experiences and I don’t want to face their wrath.

NOTE: I have changed my rating ffom 1 to 3 because they have changed for the better. Tellers treat customers with respect, broker in bank is very nice and full of good investing plans… Thanks Citi for paying attention to loyal customers!

I have not been to a bank with such great service. Although I have been a fan of Citi Group before, now I am just in aweshock from the experience.
