Crystal Springs Wine & Spirits

After having a hearty breakfast food run a couple doors down, we checked out this place for weird drinks. Did you know Nestle has a line of Agua Frescas? Me neither so I scored the Tamarindo. They also have the Jamaica (Hibiscus) and a number of other cool soft drinks. The shocking thing is they have both the Napa and Alexander Valley versions of Silver Oak Cabernet just sitting in crates by the register. Don’t judge a book by its cover!

I went in here to get a lotto ticket and collect my winnings on a few scratchers that I had gotten previously. I have had mixed experiences before. There are basically three Asian men that work here. The youngest is inattentive and slow, the middle aged guy is good and helpful and the old guy is a JERK. So anyway, I give the old guy the tickets to turn in and he starts doing something on the Lotto terminal. Then he comes over and starts yelling at me about scratching off some number that he needs. I tell him to take it easy and then he starts getting really angry. I said, «What is it that you need done?» Then he says, «I need this number scratched off!» So I said you mean you’re getting all worked up because you have to scratch off a number? What’s the big deal? Then he yells at the top of his voice that he needs the number. So I said stop yelling and just give me my money. So he throws the money at me and I walk out and say «I’m never coming back in this dump the way you act like such an ass.» Then he yells at me «F@*k YOU!» and keeps yelling at me. I turn around about 10 feet from the door and he stops at the door and yells «F&^k YOU again then says, «I’m gonna shoot you! I’m gonna shoot you! F&*k YOU!» So I said, go ahead shoot me. He turns around and goes back inside.
I will NEVER go back in there again. He is not only an ass but insane and probably has an illegal firearm that he will shoot off at anyone that makes him mad.
