Farmers Insurance – David Flaig

I had a very positive experience with David Flaig.
When my husband died my insurance provider jacked up my rates. To say the least I found that annoying, penalizing me for having my husband die! I had had good experience with Farmers in the past and called David’s agency. His assistant Allison was great. I met with David and he reviewed an «apples to apples» quote to compare what I had with my prior carrier to Farmers. Then he reviewed my entire financial picture and recommended that I upgrade some of my coverages. The insurance I needed when my husband was working from home and I was taking public transit to the office was VERY different from what I need now. Also with the death of my husband and loss of his income my needs have changed. He was able to make some sensible recommendations without ever making feel like I was «being sold». If he suggested something I wasn’t interested he backed right off right away.

David worked on a claim I had that was tricky. He understood my concerns, didn’t let the big guys push me around, and it all resulted in my being paid out for the accident claim without tons of hassle. I am a Realtor, and have referred him to over 10 of my clients who all love what he does for them.

I really giving a very honest and genuine review. I had a policy with them. I paid the first month premium upfront and then set up auto payment. I had to travel for few months and for some reason the auto payment didn’t work for them. They put my account into collection for less than 50 dollars. I was extremely surprised when I got back. As far as I know insurance service can’t charge you if they don’t provide coverage for that month. The premium for insurance policies are due at start of each month. If they company doesn’t get the premium they should just cancel the policy and does not provide coverage. It’s that simple. I am surprised they cancelled policy but still planning to charged me? When I called them to resolve matter, nobody picked the call.
Stay away. There are many better farmer’s agent in Foster City.

David is so much more than an insurance agent. Besides going above and beyond to provide top quality products and service, he truly cares about his clients by checking in and offering comfort even when insurance isn’t the issue. I trust him and his opinion. David is the best agent you can find and his assistant Leslie is the sweetest too.
