This is the place you want to go if you want your shirts done right. I’ve never had a problem. Their customer service is the best in the area. They will remember your name and treat you like family. Super great results and friendly family service. I won’t trust anyone else with my suits.

Great service and very friendly owners. I needed to have my dress shirt and blazer cleaned for an interview that was scheduled way earlier than expected (3 days to get my attire cleaned) and Mr. Hong went out his way to help me!

This is my first time trying their service and it will be my last. When I put on one of the shirts I got back from them, I found it still smells. So does the other one. Do they put enough detergent?

I would give this place 10 stars if I can! So I spilled something over my bed, and got two comforters soaking wet. It was 1pm on Saturday and this place was the only cleaner that was willing to get my comforters cleaned within one day!!! So I dropped off my comforters at 2:30pm, and came back at 4:30pm (which is when I’m writing this review). The owner said it will not be done until 5:30pm. They are supposed to close at 5pm but are willing to open later just to finish drying my comforters. What else can I say? Life saverrrr!!! I will have comforters to sleep with tonightttttt!!! LOVE THIS PLACE! Will definitely come back! And the owner, the owner is sooooo freakin kind and nice and helpful! I totaly recommend this place!

we’ve known mr. hong for over twenty years. he’s very professional in the way he runs his dry-​cleaning business and he is always striving to please. J&C has a quick turn-​around and they have been good with some of the more demanding fabrics.

I have been using this place for 6 years now. I moved and decided that J&C was too far for me and tried 2 different dry cleaners. I needed to get a few nice outfits cleaned and the prices quoted to me from the various places I went to (Nob Hill, Redwood Shores and Royal Cleaner, Whipple Ave) were astronomical, so I decided to give J&C a call was quoted a very reasonable price and I was very happy with the work done on the pieces. I will never go to another cleaner again.

The cleaners might be good but the alteration side of the business is absolutely horrendous. The person doing the alterations doesn’t seem to understand the concept of customer service. I take a simple military uniform to put name and rank tape on a new shirt. I go to pick up the uniform and the name is missing. Not a single clue what happened to the name tape. According to her, it just vanished. The person working the register put all the name tapes on in front of me but today, no name tape. She has absolutely no idea where it is, no accountability or care about the fact that I have to order a new tape tape. This is the second time I have used there alteration and the Sejong time they screwed something up! NEVER AGAIN! I know other people that go there and I’ll be telling them to take their business across the parking lot to another alterations place.

Appreciated the speed and the quality. Didn’t appreciate the charge per shirt being different than the price they listed on their board. Oh, your shirts are large — we have to charge extra for them.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they had trouble with small too.

They are amongst one of my fav local businesses. This festive season I want to thank the owner, his family and colleagues who have always taken care of our clothes.
Comforters, coats, pants, shirts– give them anything, they will make them sparkly and new like you have never worn them.
I am quite clumsy and there are many dresses of mine which i have spilt stuff on, and thank God for J&C, they make my mistakes vanish!
And the other reviewers are right, their entire set-​up is in one spot. No worries about your clothes getting cleaned elsewhere. Plus they also do excellent alterations. I have got them do some hemming on my dresses and they have fixed buttons for me quite often.

They do everything on-​site, and they do it quickly, too! I’ve been to other «dry-​cleaners» where you have to drop off your things by 10am, or you have to wait an extra day, because they ship everything out to get it done… but not J & C!
They only lose one star because $ 20 for three pairs of pants seems a little pricey to me.

When I moved to San Mateo about 4 years ago, I found it really hard to find a reasonably priced cleaner that I liked. I was pleasantly surprised when I found J&C. Each and every time I go there, the service and the cleaning are both consistently great. My clothes are always crisp and done right. Kwok, the owner, is the nicest guy ever. The biggest plus is he never refuses my last minute drop offs. And what I like even better… if you have something he can’t clean, he tells you straight up. I have also gotten some pants hemmed there… great job. No complaints at all.

This guys is presently cleaning my down comforter after my cat decided that I didn’t have enough Dry Cleaners reviews on Unilocal.
I was drawn to the El Camino location for much the same reason as most of his clientele… «My prices. Very reasonable.» The guy behind the counter? He’s the owner. The equipment you see peeking out in the back? The whole plant. If you ask him, he’ll explain to you how he’s been in the business for 15 years, how back when he opened the store he had to go to school and be licensed, how those who open the store now just contract the work to someone else who doesn’t care about their customers, how what brings people back to his store is the service and caring. Afraid of the location? He’ll pick up and deliver. Just like my home in NYC!
