I think Kay is great. She manages to use humor to put every one at ease. She has been through her own life challenges and has great empathy for others. She ‘gets’ people though never puts any one down. Is humble and generous.

Kay Coddington is an extremely insightful counselor with considerable experience in high-​conflict custody cases. As a family law attorney of 20 years, I have been fortunate to have Kay mediate and make recommendations in countless court cases, and appreciate her ability to see through the arguments, accusations, and excuses that are so often the worst problem that children of divorcing parents struggle with. My clients have consistently approved of her recommendations and feel that she is able to understand the real issues behind the custody dispute. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking mediation in a difficult custody matter.
As a comment to the review by d.f.: I understand that not every counselor can be 100% right in every case. Not knowing the circumstances of that one case, I can’t provide an explanation, or counterpoint. I can say, however, that anyone who has worked with Kay for any length of time knows that she is not «self serving» and would not be swayed by charm and promises of fame.
