I went here once and probably won’t be back. The shellac mani I got turned out fine, but it was pretty painful and I almost got up and left more than once. When the woman was cutting my cuticles she snipped three of my fingers causing them to bleed. One bled the entire time all the way until I was getting in my car to leave. It was not a pleasant experience even though the people who work there are nice enough.

This little nail salon has new spa chairs and nails drying station That looks clean and nice. Lily welcomed me as I walked in and offered me tea before starting my manicure. It offers a $ 12 manicure, $ 25 pedicure, and $ 35 mani-​pedo combo, which is an excellent price. My manicurist did a good job on trimming, massaging, and painting. What gives this spa a 4 stars instead of 5 is that almost all the regular polishes look old, and the polish on my right thumb wrinkled. I will revisit this place, and I hope it has a new patches of polishes.

Careless, sloppy and rushed work. I’m going to another nail shop today so that they can fix the «work» this shop did yesterday. The staff are kind, though not focused on the details (like NOT painting over my cuticles).

Extremely satisfied with my nails! Only $ 17 for a french manicure and $ 25 for a pedicure! The ladies here are very nice and take their time. You get massages for both manicure and pedicure, and for the pedicure you get a massage with a hot stone which feels amazing. The service here is great and a good deal.

100% satisfied! At first, I was a little hesitant because the place looked a little run down and the equipment looked older, but since it was only $ 35 for a mani and pedi, I decided to give it a try. I showed them a picture of how I wanted my toe nails to be shaped because pedicurists never seem to get it right. They cut, filed, and shaped my finger and toe nails to perfection! They also gave a nice massage on my arms and legs. This was such a great deal for the service I got!

WTF? 10 minutes she says … 25 minutes later I’m still waiting for my pedicure. They got me stuck in a chair with my feet in water so ain’t so easy to get up and leave. Don’t believe their time estimates.
Finally get my pedicure. I tell her I have a blister from my shoe on my heel and she acknowledges it, and then 10 minutes later she f**king scrubs a pumice stone over it and I Unilocal in pain. Terrible pedicure.

This is seriously one of the best if NOT the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. You can’t classify it as a typical Vietnamese nail salon. Brian and his sister run this place and exhibit exemplary social graces and great customer service.
This is not the place where you will hear staff chatter away in their native language at whatever decibel they please. They act professionally here and are genuinely friendly to their customers. They play music and act in a manner which exudes the «spa atmosphere». It’s quite refreshing.
I come here regularly for a gel fill which Brian is always the man and does a fine job. He takes great pride in his work and uses quality products. I know so. Because, I’m somewhat lazy in coming to get my gel acrylics filled at the appropriate time, and they do not break!
There is nothing to complain about at La Vie Nail Spa. It’s five star service and quality work! Nice!

This is my favorite nail salon. They are always able to accommodate me and always do a good job. The best part about coming here is that the massage. They bring out the hot stones which is so relaxing! They also have some yummy scented scrubs. There are a lot of nail spots on 25^th but this place is the best. I do recommend calling ahead. It helps to give them the heads up.

My go to nail lady is Kim. I’ve gone here for a while now. Many times she has put me in when she was busy, didn’t charge me for extra things I asked for. The only nail salon on 25^th avenue open on Sunday’s i’m pretty sure.
Kim is amazing! I had really bad acrylics done by another place, when I came here it was only a week of acrylics and she filed it down for me, and made it perfect and natural looking. I have before and after pictures. She didn’t rob me of my money and didn’t tell me to get a new set, she told me honestly it would be painful and she will do the best she can to help me like the acrylics.
Her manicures and attention to details are so precise, and all the ladies are actually perfectionists. They make sure the polish is well coated, cuticles are in check, and that nails are completely dry. They don’t try to get you out the door like most places. They are good with details and make sure customers are happy.
I have came in at 4:40 on a Sunday when they close at 5:00, still took their time on me and details and even waited for my nails to be completely dry. I left at 5:40, how sweet of them.
Prices are exceptional, for great work! I do not trust anybody else besides this nail salon. I’m a big tipper because they are just excellent. Trust me, they will make you happy.
I am willing to drive for South City down here to get a manicure. I love my nail ladies.
