I was quite active in the past, but stopped due to circumstances out of my control. Leonard has taken this into consideration as I started working with him. Baby steps. baby steps… What I really appreciate about Leonard is him taking the time to get to know me, my physical limitations(as ALL trainers SHOULD but not all do!) and understanding my diet/eating habits(nutrition is incredibly important, loved that he brings this up). He kept all this in mind while we talked about my goals and how to reach them. Can I also just say that he has gone above and beyond to show me proper form and technique?! I’ve been squatting wrong my entire life!(No Asian squat jokes please, this is a serious review) He has been incredibly gentle in correcting me(no gymtimidation from this guy at all) but not only that, he explained the reason behind everything to me. I am a person who has taken many group workouts(Barry’s Boot Camp, Soul Cycle, TRX, cardio kickboxing, Zumba, yoga, you name and I’ve probably done it) in the past. Sure they can be great, but you don’t always necessarily get the individual attention you may NEED. You could be doing the exercise wrong and the instructor MIGHT come around and correct you, but not really telling you why you need to do things a certain way. Understanding why improper technique/form is incredibly important so that you do not injure yourself!!! Remember what I said about physical limitations? Yea, so I’ve been doing push ups my entire life the way I thought you had to do them. You know what? I’ve been doing them WRONG. No wonder why they usually leave my back in pain! And not a single person has ever taught me proper form. Leonard has corrected me and of course shown me that doing modified push ups are totally okay to do. I also can tell that I will eventually get to doing them properly without any modifications. Leonard has been especially great in showing me how to benefit from simple workouts that don’t require equipment. With his instruction on proper form and technique, I can now workout virtually anywhere! What do you mean by «new year, new me?» This fabulous betch is NOT a resolutioner! Same olé me, just IMPROVED.

Leonard is A M A Z I N G!!! He has taken my fitness routine to the next level. I have been training with Leonard for a little less than a year and I have seen some dramatic changes in my physical appearance. He listened to my goals and took them to the next level. He is not only a great trainer, but personable as well. He really cares how you are doing and modifies the workout if you have any injuries. He is by far the best trainer that I have come across and I cannot recommend him enough. Hire him and you will not be sorry!!!

Leonard is the man! I started working with him a little over a year ago and he’s transformed my entire approach to fitness and healthy living. Not knowing really anything about lifting or gym equipment, Leonard made me feel comfortable in the weight room, identify what my goals were(both short-term and long-term), and develop a plan to start working towards those goals. I was specifically interested in proper form, alignment and mechanics and Leonard has focused on those in the context of my other interests(improve tennis game, enhance endurance, etc). Other than being incredibly good at what he does, Leonard is exceptionally friendly and generous. He regularly follows up with me outside the gym and cares how things are going with me. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been as a result of his guidance and motivation. I look forward to my continued workouts with him!

Still working out with Leonard and still loving it! I have made the following personal bests: 2:40 minutes planking, running for 1 minute on the treadmill at 9.5 and just continuing to get stronger. Leonard is inspiring!
