NEVER Refill your Propane Tank here! Pay attention as they fill up! I brought my propane tank here for refill and the guy only filled up half way and charged for full tank. Only way I found out was when my husband noticed the tank seemed very light even after «full» refill so he ran warm water over the tank only to find out it was less then half way full. Don’t go here for refills!

I used to bring my older car to MS Auto for minor repairs/​servicing a few years ago and I’ve felt that muhammad (aka ‘mo’) was very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help out. I’ve been a few times recently for minor things like smog checks and still received great service. My only issue was that I once found some fraudulent charges on my card after going there — but I think it was isolated to an individual cashier, not the shop.

I’ve had all my smogs done through the shop they have done an honest job. They do the repairs when I needed them knowing that I needed them. They gave me a fair price on the repairs. There always available to answer the questions that I may have. They have always been very friendly and helpful.

My Tire was flat one night and came passed here where they were closed by watching a game in the back, I asked them for air and they handed my a hose and saved from an expensive tow, seem like nice guys.

Seem like good guys. Our car was acting weird on highway 101, dim lights, dash going nuts, the battery gauge was pointing in the wrong direction so I knew something was wrong.
Luckily we were able to exit third street and go to O’Reilly’s on Norfolk to get the car tested for battery problems. The guy at O’Reilly (Henry, nice guy by the way and helpful) said the tester indicated something was wrong with the alternator.
He suggested we go to MS auto across the street. This was around 6 – 6:30 pm and didn’t think they were still open. They had the alternator in stock at O’Reilly’s so I purchased it, then went across the street to get the alternator swapped out for a reasonable rate at MS auto which took about 30 – 45 minutes.
Like I said, they seem like decent guys. I don’t know anything about their other maintenance or smog services but they did OK by me.

Excellent service, I used a coupon from the penny saver. I was in and out within 15 minutes. This place is my new smog shop.

Have had nothing but problems with them since I took my car in there. They are not better business certified as seen below:
I would stay away from them at all costs and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO or BUY A Unilocal DEAL from them– you will never get your money back and I’ve had strange charges on my credit card ever since. There are plenty of places to take your car to that are trustworthy

I have been customer for years. I cannot trust anyone else with my car.
They’ve done nothing but thorough good work on my car. They are pretty affordable compared to any other auto body repair shops I’ve been to and experienced. Not only do they do a good job with decent pricing, they do the work pretty quick. Usually an oil change will take 30 – 60 minutes depending on their work load.
I’ve gotten many parts replaced for my car, done a couple smog checks, oil change, break pad change, light bulbs, air filter, even had them drive to my house with gasoline when I ran out and my car wouldn’t start. They really take care of their customers. They’ll travel to different parts of the bay area to dealerships and stores for parts, or order it for you.
If they’re swamped for the day they’ll ask you to come back. It’s such a tiny place, so don’t expect the whole commercial industrial treatment. These guys are humble and honest.
