I was very disappointed with my experience here. I injured both knees in a fall on concrete. I had x-​rays that showed nothing. Dr. Bolanes insinuated it was in my head or neurological because my symptoms didn’t make sense.
He did order an MRI, thankfully! I waited over 40 minutes to meet with him in his office only to have him tell me what the radiologist concluded. Dr. Bolanes didn’t even LOOK at my MRI scans. He only went off the Radiologist’s opinion and said he only looks at MRI scans if you go to surgery. I was flabbergasted to say the least. I asked if he himself would personally call me and if he would look at them. He agreed.
A week later, I called because he never called and when I explained to his office staff our arrangement, they said he wouldn’t do that. I told them I didn’t want to argue (they weren’t very customer service friendly to begin with and didn’t return some of my calls prior) and to just have him call me. Again, he never called.
I got a second opinion and was diagnosed with Patellar Femoral Syndrome and Pes Anserine Bursitis. Dr. Bolanes acted like I was crazy, my knees were fine and it was all in my head. What I have is very painful and I even had to go to the ER for it. Dr Bolanos is not thorough, caring or going to follow up with you if you ask him to. Just a heads up if you are thinking of going here.
His physicians’s assistant was sweet. That is why they got two stars. The dr and office staff deserve none.

So far so good! My honey hurt his knee at work 2 weeks ago and saw Dr. Bolanos at the ER. Were following up with him and everything is going well. I’ll update after we get the MRI back.
