The food was tasty, and the price is quite reasonable. Definitely worthwhile coming here again.

I came here for lunch on New Years Day. It was PACKED, so we had to wait a bit for a table. To be frank, service was pretty bad(we had to ask for water several times before getting our glasses), but I really enjoyed the phở! I got the Dac Biet & Bo Vien. The rice dishes looked really good, so I definitely want to come back.

Pretty damn good phở, but the service is HORRIBLE! If you know me, I don’t dock stars for service when it comes to phở joints because it’s the same everywhere. No no no… the lady that works/maybe owns this place is on another level of rude. She didn’t bring a pen and paper to take our our down(party of 4), and when she got confused she blamed it on us for talking too much… like huh? Are you serious, girl? RUDERUDERUDE. Not worth another visit. I will mention that the shrimp spring rolls was one of the better ones I’ve had… but still, THATLADY :(

This place has the worst service ever and don’t think about ordering an iced coffee with less ice because you’ll just get less coffee(shown in photo). Asked the lady why it wasn’t filled to the top and she offered to give me more ice. I said I didn’t want more ice I wanted more coffee and she said no and that she could only give me more ice. What a joke lol

Never come back again. The service is horrible. Dishes were below average. Don’t come! Don’t come! Don’t come! It’s important so three times.

More like a 3.5, it gets the job done. It’s definitely preferable to Phở Vinh, which is closer to my office. Phở Vinh is cleaner and the service is friendlier, but the phở itself is meh, and expensive for what it is. Phở Little Saigon maintains the standard phở prices: a regular bowl will set you back about $ 7, and a large is only $ 1-$ 2 more. The regular is enough to fill me up; one time I got ambitious and ordered a large and couldn’t breathe afterwards. The broth isn’t too salty and they don’t skimp on the meat, although I wouldn’t recommend ordering the brisket — it’s super fatty here. Stick with the rare steak! I’ve also had the vermicelli bowl with egg rolls, which were super tasty. Even though they’re busy, the food still comes out quickly so you can make it back to work on time. Easy parking in the lot, and they take card!

I’ve been to Phở Little Saigon a handful of times now and I am always conflicted about how to review it. First things first, service is definitely not their forte. The owner is always very curt and there is little pleasantry in any exchange that I’ve ever had with any of the servers of staff. I always get Phở(Dac Biet) from any phở restaurant so I can really only judge that much of the menu. I have been to this restaurant as my go-to spot at least over 15 times now and the phở quality is very, very variable. There are times when the broth is rich and flavorful and the color makes that very apparent; however, there are many other times where the broth has been watery and relatively flavorless as well. The amount of meat served with the phở has definitely fluctuated as well across my visits. While the phở here is okay and I will keep coming to it as my go-to place in San Mateo/Foster City, I definitely am keeping an open mind to new places and hoping somewhere better opens up.

extremely fast food service… order and get your meal within minutes… taking a #2 combo large phở and finding sizing quite filling… big hefty bowl and broth clean… plenty of noodles and good texture… flavorful broth and not too salty… filled with meat and good bowl for roughly $ 10 total after tax and tip for large…

Ok now that I’ve had more of their menu, I do applaud PLS for a few more things: — speediness of take out orders. they are fast! love that. — #41 Grilled Pork and Egg Rolls over Vermicelli($ 8.45). Solid. Pork is tender and seasoned. Egg rolls are crispy on top of the bun noodles. Never go wrong with this. Even my 2 year old likes it.

Phở Little Saigon consistently has good phở in Foster City area. The beef phở is pretty good. I won’t say it’s amazing, but it’s cheap and it really hits the spot good. It gets crowded pretty fast during peak hours. The speedy service and the servers are quick to take your order(I can usually get in and out in about 40 minutes). The bowls of phở are big and the broth is nice and flavorful. I always get the number one house special because I like all the different meats in my soup. I load the whole bowl up with the bean sprouts, lemon and basil, just delicious! Add Sriracha sauce and you’re golden. Bottom line if you want good phở at a great price and fast, Phở Little Saigon is the only option for the area.

Stopped by this place to grab a last meal with my girls before dropping them off at the airport. The phở wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t my favorite. I ordered the egg rolls… they were just ok. Probably wouldn’t get those again. My veggie phở was good, but I have to admit, I was a tad disappointed that they didn’t have bok Choy in it. My girls really enjoyed their phở. One got the beef phở, and the other one got chicken. When we came in, we were seated quickly. The food was served quickly too!

A little phở place close to the highway Having walked by this place many times, and seeing the entire place through the large windows, I always wondered about the quality of the food here. There are usually patrons there, but it varies from time to time. The first impression I got from walking in was, what is this Smell? Urgh it smells like something has been rotting at my table for years. It could potentially have been the bottles of sauce on the table. When the lady handed me the menu, she said very abruptly«order!?», and I told her I had to see the menu first because I haven’t been there before. I didn’t have high hopes for the place In any case, I ordered some phở, and when it arrived, the quality was much better than I thought! Not necessarily the best phở I’ve had, but actually decent phở, made well, with the right portions and the right seasoning, and flavorful broth. The amount of meat is also just right – not too much and not too little. The quality of the food there is actually pretty good. Overall, a good place to stop by for a quick bowl of phở once in a while.
