I don’t write negative reviews lightly when people jobs are on the line, but after 3 years since I saw Dr. Smith I feel compelled to do so. I met him through a company sponsored presentation on foot health. I went to see him because of plantar fasciatis issues. He pushed very expensive custom orthodic inserts and shoes for me to purchase. When the so called custom inserts did not work out and I wanted to have them fixed, he tried to put the blame on me and said«You sure are different» as if no one else had different feet needs. And when I wanted to have the shoes that did not work for me returned, his wife tried to nickel and dime on return charges. I would not recommend him to anyone. Also, to cover the hard inserts, he provides these cheap pads from some material he feels proud to have developed, but when I told him I did not find it comfortable for long walks because of friction on my foot sole, he ignored my feedback. He and his wife can become very rude with customer who don’t fit their agenda. I wasted my lifetime insurance orthodict benefits in this place for products I had to throw or give away. Anyone looking for good insert, I suggest you save yourself alot of grief and money and try over the counter ones first. here is one that finally worked for me

I had a surgery procedure several years ago and haven’t had a problem since. Dr Smith is very thorough.

Met him my company’s health fair, he convinced me I can get a set of inserts to improve my slight pronation for the cost of a single copay. I am in no pay so I thought what the heck I can afford $ 25. 4 copays later I received my inserts, not only was I mislead about the additional visits but now after I received my insert he wants to see me every few months. Mr. Smith is an older gentleman in his 70’s so I am quite surprised he needs to engage in such tactics to get business. Also his office is not even set up for credit card transactions. My next visit with him will be my last.

Pretty pathetic. This podiatrist treated me for(suspected) athlete’s foot for six months and wanted to see me every two weeks all that time. Finally he gave up and said he couldn’t figure it out. A dermatologist took exactly ten minutes to diagnose it as eczema.

Sweet, gentle soul. A real nice experienced doctor and a pleasant staff. NOMOREFOOTPAIN! The only downside is that he is not open on Monday’s and Fridays and does not take plastic for co-payment. Other than that I would highly recommend him.
