New to the area I was in need for a long overdue Eyebrow shaping. I found Haleh on Unilocal and chose to book an appt after reading all of the great reviews. The salon is very clean and Haleh is very kind and sweet! She listens to what you want and takes her time shaping your eyebrows. What I love the most is the room privacy you receive when booking an appointment at her salon. there isn’t a line of people waiting impatiently and watching like if you were going to a treading shop at the mall. You’ll feel comfortable and relaxed! I’ve been coming to Haleh for 4 months now and I’ll continue seeing her for my treading needs. I had my first hair appointment a week ago for a deep conditioning and my hair looks and feels fantastic! So far I’ve had a wonderful overall experience with Haleh!

I cannot believe it has taken this long for me to write a review for Haleh. I have been going to Haleh for several months and my eyebrows have never looked this great. She is very personable, excellent at what she does and never pushy. Before Haleh I have had to deal with inexperienced threaders who were always in a rush and their threading technique involved putting the thread in their mouth (gross!).My last experience at an Indian threading salon in Foster city left me quite traumatized! I am so glad I found Haleh, she takes her time and is a perfectionist. I haven’t had to use her hair styling services yet but I am pretty sure she is great at that too! Do you eyebrows a favor and pay her a visit, you won’t regret it!

Haleh was great! I desperately needed my brows cleaned up and looked to Unilocal to help me find a place convenient to my commute down the peninsula. I’m glad I trusted the reviews of others, because this was exactly what I needed. I called about an hour before showing up to make sure she could take me (she could). My brow threading took about 20 minutes — longer than other appointments I’ve had because Haleh was such a perfectionist. She respected my wishes to keep my brows pretty much the same but to clean them up, and I’m really happy with the results. My skin is so soft all around my brows now — no bumps or irritation at all. I’ll be back!

Haleh is a wonderful hairdresser not only because she is meticulous and careful but also because she really has an intuition of what I want to try even if I can’t always describe it. Sometimes I just describe the most random things like «I want my hair to flow back rather than fall forward and get in my face» and she gets it. I like to get haircuts whenever I want to «transform» my look; Haleh does a great job of giving my hair a fresh look without crazy changes I would regret or changes that I can’t replicate (like blow drying it some awesome way that I can’t replicate on my own with my super straight hair). Her haircuts usually take some time (~1.5 hours) but I always feel invigorated by the time spent rather than bored or rushed from one step to another. She also does a great job with threading! I come down from SF to see her still despite living there now.

I would highly recommend this place. I scheduled an appointment for an eyebrow threading and wasn’t sure what to expect. The last woman who I went to didn’t do a very good job. But Haleh took her time and did a spectacular job. She was very precise and detailed.
My eyebrows are very sparse toward the ends. The hair just doesn’t grow much. But somehow she made my eyebrows look fuller than ever and gave them a fantastic shape. I will definitely be going back.

This is a great place to get your eyebrows done or to get the hair away that you don’t want. She does a great job at threading with minimal pain and a lot of care. If you have unwanted hair this is the place to go. In my opinion it’s way better than waxing or any other alternatives. I highly recommend this solan.

I am extremely picky with my haircuts and all I can say is she took the time and put in the effort to make me happy. My previous hair cut girl left to Michigan and I was looking around for a new one, and decided to give Haleh a shot. She is precise and will spend the time with you to make sure you get what you want. You won’t leave disappointed.

I walked out of this salon with the most amazing haircut (and threaded brows!)… thank you, thank you, thank you!

This hairstylist defines that you don’t need to spend a fortune to get a great haircut, my girlfriend got a haircut here and she was very happy with the result. I also appreciate the stylist scheduling after working hours. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
