You can’t hope for a better dojo to join than here. Sensei Saito and Sensei Mike are not only amazingly skilled teachers but are also wonderful mentors who want you to succeed, regardless of your skill or fitness level. This dojo is all about becoming better — you will learn excellent skills and technique in a respectful, encouraging and challenging but fun environment. The teachers here love Kyukushin, and teaching others, and this passion shows in every class. As others have mentioned, you also feel a strong sense of community here — fellow students are friendly and respectful and there are events throughout the year you can participate in. The training pushes you to be sure, but you feel great coming out of each class. If you are looking for a great dojo that is not your typical watered down martial arts — you will not be dissapointed with World Oyama.

This place is pretty badass. The martial arts here are very traditional which I like a lot. I learned a lil Japanese here too which was cool. I went here for a lil while and really enjoyed myself. The schedule became a problem so I couldn’t follow through like I wanted too. The teachers guide through in a safe environment, very welcoming, they really want you too learn. I like the fighting at the end when I really gotta chance to put all what I learned into action. The sensei is a definite proven blackbelt. You can tell he’s a master with confidence and wisdom.

My daughter introduced me to World Oyama and I absolutely love it! There is a great sense of community spirit at World Oyama and the training is fun even though you’re working so hard and sweating. I look forward to going every time. Osu!
