Its a dirty, open space dive bar. Bar did not have Jameson. I ordered a Jack and Coke, and once I got to my second round, they had run out of Jack Daniels. We went here to watch Extreme Midget Wrestling, and the show was fun. We did have a good time. But I ordered some fries, and nacho’s, both of which were the lowest quality I’ve ever had. Straight out of a bag, frozen, flash fried and flavorless. But honestly, I knew that going in. The staff is friendly, but pretty clueless. I’d go again for a destination show, but you wouldn’t find me here ever otherwise. Thats it. Just a Mediocre Bar all the way across the board.

Been here twice this week, had the«skinny bird»(grilled chicken sandwich) and then today I tried out«The Big Pig»(pulled pork sandwich), both times I had the potato salad for my side. Amazingly good! & our servers were on point!

We stopped by when driving back from Los Angeles to the Bay Area on Sunday evening. The exterior was unassuming but the interior was newly remodeled and pleasant. To our relief, we didn’t all have to eat burgers(we had eaten plenty on our road trip) — my husband had a Cesar salad + chicken, my kids and I had Fettucine Alfredo. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned, and the portions were generous for the price. The food was a little slow, but we could live with that since it tasted freshly prepared. The service was friendly and cheerful, and very important if you’re travelling with kids — the bathroom was immaculate. So although we spent more time there than planned, we’re glad to have found it and would recommend it for families travelling along 101, looking for a rest stop near Paso Robles.

What a fantastic venue for seeing a band! Saw Buckcherry, wow, loved it, drinks were strong and it didn’t take forever even though they were very busy! Had dinner first and it too was very good. Had reservsations because we were a large party. Our waitress was the best, everyone was super helpful and friendly with fast service. Everyone loved their food, garlic mashed potatoes, yum, the steaks were done just right and a very generous portion appetizers were all good too. My only complaint would be the chicken sandwich which 2 of us had and neither liked, it was so non exciting, not even as good as some fast food sandwiches… it needs some jazzing up or remove it from the menu because I’d hate for someone not to come back because of that they’d be missing out!

I’ve been to the restaurant a couple of times since they remodeled and upgraded their menu. I would describe it as comfort food with flair. The staff is very down to earth and fun. I’ve received excellent service. The food is reasonably priced. It’s not cheap, but what do you expect? A steak costs what a steak costs. I love the mashed potatoes. The chicken, very juicy. This place is a surprising bright spot for San Miguel. I only hope they can stay open.

This place was awesome. My husband and I were driving through for business and we found this place on Unilocal. They are located in small strip but the place pretty good sized. Entertainment was provided as we were in luck being a Wednesday, they had comedy night. The comedians were pretty funny, my husband and I had a great time. I had the ribeye-which was awesome with garlic mashed and green beans and my husband got the western burger. The meals were very generously portioned, especially for the price. A lot of places charge more for a steak and doesn’t compare to the Ranch’s prep and execution of the meal. Everything was on point. We will definitely be returning to the Ranch the next time we are passing through. Oh and they serve dinner until 9:30 which we were thankful for.

If you are looking for the sort of bar that has a parking lot full of pickup trucks, a clientele that shows some of their life experience on their faces and bartenders that pour exceedingly strong doubles into plastic cups, this is your place. I(obviously) had a great time here. It’s a dive, but a large one, so you’ve got room to spread out and experience the terribleness at your leisure. There’s also a stage with a pole on it, which is always an indicator of a classy experience. It is cheap as hell to drink here, but you do have to drive all the way to San Miguel, so getting home is a definite concern. I was lucky enough to somehow persuade someone to drive me there and back, so I was free to imbibe enough to get the full experience. I had a ton of fun and would totally go there again, but not with anyone who doesn’t enjoy a good sticky bar floor once in a while.

The LIVEMUSIC capital of the NORTHCOUNTY! Sell out shows of major Country Stars, great world-class touring comedians for Wed Comedy night, and the best, freshest Mexican food around. Fastest bar around too. Hard to beat a great night out at The Ranch!

I live in San Miguel and I have to say that this place has gone downhill. Comedy night is about the only thing going for it. Stay away from their food specials. My family went there for all you can eat taco Tuesday. Everything was greasy and stale. If you like bad food and wet t-shirt contests this might be a great place for you.

We had dinner with friends a couple of weeks ago. Had separate checks. The waitress double charged us for our meal. We called the next day, could not get a hold of anyone, when we finally did we were told to talk to Sheila. Of course she wasn’t in. When she called us back and we told her the problem, she was rude said it couldn’t happen. She finally said she would check into it. When she called back this time she apologized and said we would have free tickets for the next comedy show and she would fix the problem. That was a over a week ago. NOW we call and the phone is disconnected… what’s up. Did this happen to others? We paid by debit and just want our money back! Where’s the customer service…

I have been here several times now. I enjoy the atmosphere, the good folk, the comradery and the events. I’ve seen gut-busting, face hurting comedy shows to engaging fun-filled up close and personal concerts where you don’t have to dance in your chair. I like to show up early and dine before the show. The food is bangin’ for the buck! Our family can appreciate the heart the Eliserraras family has for their true passion and all the effort that they pour into making their dream a thriving reality. I am glad to be a continued supporter and look forward to the many more good times here.

Five of us bought tickets to see Uncle Cracker. I called a few days before to ask about the venue. The man answering told us if we got there early we could get one of the few seats otherwise standing room only. He told me, «I am not suppose to say when Uncle Cracker starts.» We got there at 5:30 to stand in line, doors open at 6. I went to will call and picked up my tickets and found out Uncle Cracker would START at 10:15. And there were chairs outside on the patio, not inside. So standing for over 5 hours? No. People in line were pissed and a bunch of us sold our tickets for a loss(we sold 4 for a loss and gave one away). I will NEVER go back. The only reason I gave it one star is because I couldn’t give it zero. PS I drove almost 1.5 hours to get there and left before they opened the doors. Never ate and never even went inside.

Get a chef or at least a cook. The food stinks and there isn’t really a wine selection. Felt like the management was desperate for us to like it there. sorry but the food has to come first

I came in here after grabbing a drink from the Elkhorn to get some grub. They have a pretty decent menu ranging from burgers, burritos to steaks. The place is huge and sports live events every weekend. The staff was very polite, on the ball and made sure I had what I needed. The have occasional drink specials as well — .25PBR from 10 pm to 1130 pm on certain nights — hell ya! They have one of the only ATM machines in town as far as I could see. There is lots of tables, bar space, as well as dance space if you want to get your groove on. The only down side I found was they locked the door at 5PM before the show and I could not grab anything to eat. I will check them out again when I bring the wife to town.

Wednesday night comedy shows are a real hit. The food is OK. They have a full bar and drink specials depending on the evening. The wine selection is poor with usually one red wine and one white wine available

I will NEVER go to another concert there! I went to Joe Nichols 10÷09÷10 and it was supposed to start at 8:00pm. He did not come on stage until after 10:30! The sound system was horrible and I would rate that concert experience as the worst ever.

WOW. I’m not sure what to say about The Ranch except that: 1. There was more Lady Gaga than country music. 2. The people watching was AWESOME. 3. We had more fun once we moved down the block to The Elkhorn.
