So I’m a black male and I walk in one night with an eight month natural. Spoke right to a lady styling hair name Denine. I asked her if I could get braids at my hair length and she examined my hair and said she could do the twisties. I grabbed her card and made an appointment the next evening.
Walked in for my appointment the next evening with a shop full of women getting hair and nails done and the whole shop seemed to get quite for a hot second as if I stepped into a no go zone. Then Denine walked in and prompted me to the booth and then all the ladies began to relax and start talking again which made me relax because a room full of about twenty tense females can be intimidating even to a 6’5″ tall man.
She began on my hair and I saw the asians on the other side doing nails and noticed an asian male doing a young ladies foot. Her feet were very pretty but the asian man had one serious foot fetish because he put in extra work on her pedicure. I would have given him an over achiever award if I had one on board.
Denine had a very good conversation and finished the twisties in an hour. My hair looked great which made me feel great and she detailed me on hair maintenance. I received a lot of compliments from females at a party the next day. Well I cut my hair low for the new year but I will be back again in a few months for those twists again. The shop says Thaaanx Hair Salon on the card and I’d recommend for men and women because they do it all.
