Something was off. I love giving 5 stars and I am very generous with my 5 star reviews, but man it was not my thing at all. Smoothie was decent but the food was just not cool. The Asada was not cooked really well like other taquerias I usually go to and it looked greasy. The rice was in a ball all smashed up. The chiliquiles were drenched in sauce with hardly any chips. Although the plate did have fresh vegtables and sour cream when someone orders chiliquiles they obviously want a bunch of chips on the plate. I asked and paid extra for pastor meat. I swear they laid a few unflavorful pieces of pork on top. This place does look cute when u walk in but the food ain’t all that and the $ 35 price tag really wasn’t justifiable. Nice waiter though. My complaint is with the cook. Something the restaurant had no control over was the disgusting female patrons that happened to be there that day. These women were burping and giggling. I was trying to barely get this food down but these women put the nail in the coffin I wanted to vomit for 3 hours after I left. I basically left my whole plate there. Thank god for the smoothie keeping me full. Personally I would avoid this spot all together.

Customer service is great. Tortas are delicious, their bread is soft and the meat is tasty.

Bought a torta Cubana and the bread wasn’t really as fresh it was kinda hard then soggy because of the juice. Some of the meat was too chewy and didn’t look as good. Only ate half of the torta. And to top it off they were out of horchata…

We all enjoyed our food. I had the wet burrito(it was gigante). My daughter had the a steak super quesadilla, the man had enchiladas. I thought the enchiladas were dry because there wasn’t that much sauce, i was mistaken! They were delish! My only complaint was the lettuce in the burrito, cuz that’s just nasty! I can’t stand lettuce on a burrito. I would also add that u might get sucked into a fruit salad with all the sliced fruit staring u in the gave asst the register. Oh I will def be going back regularly!

Delicious tortas, burritos and enchiladas! Highly recommend the aguas frescas! Staff is supper nice and place is child friendly! It gets busy real quick so if you don’t see a line consider your self lucky. Parking is great! It’s free! They recently expanded and the place is now much bigger! So you def will find a table to eat in. They have 2 flat screen tv’s for your entertainment. :) enjoy!

Food was good, but the wait was too long. I waited 40 minutes for my takeout. Super burritos with steak — good Papusas with meat and cheese — good Super nachos — will not order again. Tacos — missing salsa Calling ahead of time is recommended as they do get semi packed.

Decided to try out another local Mexican place while visiting the boyfriend since we’ve been to our usual a couple of times. It’s a nice little plaza outside with a decently sized parking lot. This place has two seating areas. There weren’t too many people there so it seemed like they closed one side off with the chairs on the table. Ordering was easy. The menu was on the wall and some pictures to accommodate them which is always helpful for me. I ended up ordering the super nachos with carnitas. The boyfriend ordered a cheese and chorizo torta. As we waited for our order, we had chips and salsa to eat :) Our orders came out really quickly. Usually I have an issue with my nachos where there are too many chips and not enough toppings. But this was actually the complete opposite! I had so much topping that I had a hard time finding the chips! But I didn’t mind. It was all still very delicious. The only issue I had with my nachos was that I wished there was guacamole on it rather than just slices of avocados. The nacho was a really big dish! Good for the price! The boyfriend’s torta was really good too. Also really big. He had to pack the other half home since he helped me with my nachos :) I would definitely come back and try something else one day!

I should just walked out once I saw how dirty this place is… I was starving so I ordered tacos. Yuck! Carne asada is pretty basic, but they managed to dry it out. No flavor. Aguas are totally watered down. I wouldn’t go back. Disappointed.

Have a torta, drink an agua fresca, and you will be a happy camper. Word to the wise: half a torta will stuff you up.

This was my second time that my boyfriend took me here and both times it was GOOD! Very friendly service upon walking in and the food was delicious. They have a variety of Tortas that you can choose from which was amazing! I got the ham and egg torta and it was so tasty that I want to try them all now! They have other dishes besides tortas of course and I’m sure everything is unique and delicious in their own way.

Awesome for tortas! Would have given it five stars if someone could take a phone order in English, unfortunately I don’t speak Spanish. But when I got there cashier was helpful and I was able to order some authentic Mexican food! I’ll be going back!

Wonderful food. I was born in the bay and moved to San Diego and had some really great different(from the mission burrito) Mexican food down there and quality of their shrimp cocktail is so close to Chula vistas it’s incredible. I’m half Salvadorean and their papusas are good as well, not as authentic as other salvadorean restaurants but very delicious. If only they had micheladas … but I highly recommend this place.

I’ve tried many of their items from enchiladas to tortas and every dish I’ve had was good. Out of all the dishes I tried, my favorite one would be the Carnitas Torta. I’m a bit obsessed with their mango smoothie and their watermelon aguas frescas though! I love that they use fresh fruits and their Bionico looks amazing so that’s next on my list to try. The place is clean and you have an option to dine in or take out. A lot of people are ordering over the phone but the food comes out pretty quick even if you don’t. They have a pretty good selections to choose from to suit whatever you’re craving for.

Tried my very first torta here. It loved up to everything I hope it would and more. I had the fish torta. Hopefully I’m not installing it by saying it tasted like a high end fish filet with extra fixings. It’s always a bonus when a taqueria gives free tortilla chips with your order. This was actually my second visit here. My first time here I didn’t order because the service was very slow. This time around, I was immediately served.

Known for tortas! Got all ballsy and tried a regular pollo asado burrito today and … super fail! Dry as f*ck! Rule of thumb: Stick with what you know. Sometimes being adventurous does not pay off. However, tortas are always on hit.

I have been coming here for some time now and I forgot how tasty their food can be. They have a genuinely good Mexican torta. I love that you can add queso fresco it really elevates it to another level. I also really love milanesa. My favorite is de res and it is quite moist and tasty here. If you wany a good water, you must try the agua de frutas. Its a combination of several fruits but so refreshing and not too sweet. I dont think they add sugar which is great as the fruits themselve should be able to sweeten up thi great water. I usually have a favorite dish everywhere I go and the tortas are my dish here!

My usual here would consist of a torta which I must said they make a good one really simple so if in the mood I would definitely recommend it however on this occasion I decided to try a plate. Enchiladas verdes it’s all in the sauce and it was delicious with a tiny bite to it by no means is it spicy. It was subtle enough for my Italian friend. The full order came with 4 enchiladas you have the option of green or red topped with sour cream, lettuce, queso fresco and avocado with a nice big side of Spanish rice. Sopes were also soft enough that you can actually cut into pieces, eat it a la fancy. I would suggest the chicken one it was really good and fresh. Fruit salad very sweet. Note: parking can be difficult here especially during lunch time. Once 2 catorce

Best carnitas torta is the area! If you come here, you have to try it at least once. The fruit is always fresh and I always wanna have some but by the end of my meal. It’s game over lol!
