I know, I know, why did I even bother? After a week of driving by and looking in the window, I finally saw the store was open one day and decided to check it out. There is an adorable little antique rocking chair in the window, I thought I’d go just look at the price tag and come back out. Once I got inside, however, it was like a train wreck. I just couldn’t look away. The prices were astronomical. The automatic door buzzer kept dinging, even twenty feet into the store. A smelly little dog was barking from the back office. There were dirty dishes sitting around. It looked like a hoarder’s paradise. A woman came out to greet me. We said our hellos and I continued looking around. There were a few cute pieces in there: a yarn keep, an old kitchen cart, a couple of hutches and even a coffee table. None of them were worth the hundreds of dollars marked on the price tags! I would recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for good quality antique furniture!
