Dr. Speiser is the best, his staff is awesome. It had been 12 years since I had had a baby and my original Ob/​Gyn was no longer in practice in Ca. I knew I wanted a Dr in San Pedro so that I could be able to deliver at SPPH. I came across Dr Speiser’s name on Unilocal and decided to give his office a call to set up an appt. The receptionist was very nice and answered all my questions and even got an appt right away (didn’t have to wait a month like other Offices). Anyway Long story short, Met him, Loved him and his bedside manner is just the best. At the delivery of my baby (which was C-​section) was smoothed, him and his colleagues made me feel so comfortable. Definitely will not find a better Dr than Dr. Speiser!

I moved to San Pedro when I was 5 months pregnant with my first baby. I chose Dr. Speiser from Unilocal reviews and was very happy with my choice. My baby was breech, we were doing one last ultrasound before the c-​section when we discovered she had flipped into the right position! I ultimately ended up having a c-​section due to other complications, but Dr. Speiser was there to explain everything to me the whole way. He knew I was hoping for a natural birth and did everything he could to make that happen but it just wasn’t in the cards. He explained all of my options at each step and didn’t try to pressure me either way. He was a great surgeon (I later read that he was trained as a trauma surgeon before switching to OB) and everything went quickly without complications. I would absolutely go to him again if I was still in the area.
His office is amazing too, the receptionists and nurses are super helpful and nice.

I just had my first baby under Dr. Speiser’s care. He was highly recommended to me by my primary physician. Because it was my first pregnancy, I was extremely clueless and didn’t know what to do. (All those old wives tales and myths regarding pregnancy were driving me crazy!)
Dr. Speiser has this very soothing and calming demeanor that helped me relax during the whole 40 weeks. He was very patient in answering my questions and helped me understand the pregnancy. He also has a great personality and charisma that put people at ease.
During the labor and delivery, Dr. Speiser was very quick and skilled. He also looked out for his patients’ best interest. From my own experience and from the nurses at the hospital, Dr. Speiser wouldn’t put his patients under the knife unless absolutely necessary. (I’ve heard there are OBs out there who like to cut.) Another wonderful thing about Dr. Speiser — I don’t know if a lot of doctors do this, but Dr. Speiser had me hold the baby and pull him out of me at the end of delivering the baby. It was an amazing experience. I know I will remember that moment for the rest of my life.
I also want to add a note that, Dr. Speiser’s nurse Brendalisa is a wonderful nurse. She is very sweet and good at what she does. She was very helpful to me during my pregnancy.

I don’t know how much I can thank Dr. Speiser. The link above explains better about Dr. Speiser and his work. He performed Myomectomy on me and removed a cantalope sized uterine fibroid four days ago. I am home and alive and well and I am so glad that I got this surgery from him.
I was on an extensive gynecologist search after not being able to get an earlier date with my original gynecologist in Beverly Hills. I got a email from one of the postings I got and she introduced Dr. Speiser to me. I was so nervous when I walked into his office because, let’s face it, it is not easy going to a male doctor for your girlie needs. However, the first examination with Dr. Speiser, he was very through and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. He also takes time with his clients, instead of shuffling through millions of patients. I think he’s able to do that because he recently moved his practice from Long Beach. I had it the best, having this amazing surgeon as my doc and I never felt rushed or anything. He really takes his time with you.
My other doc was not able to get me an earlier date for surgery because she operates out of Cedars-​Sinai hospital only. Dr. Speiser is actually part of the Little Company of Mary, and he was able to get me an earlier date at LCM San Pedro because he operates like almost everyday. The article explains what kind of a surgeon he is, and let me tell you that he is awesome.
Since now I have the fibroid removed and I am actually going to be able to have babies, I am thinking of having babies within like two years. Who am I going to go to when I have babies? Dr. Speiser. I won’t go to anyone else now.
