Leosec security guards are just what they are guards. Yet they walk around trying to act like police officers and think they can do everything a police officer can. They do not have the proper training and expertise a real law enforcement officer has. Leosec guards do no carry handcuffs, firearms, pepper spray, batons, hobble, taser or any proper police tools. Maybe a flash light and radio. They don’t deserve the title officer on there badge because that would just be a disrespect to real law enforcement officers that had to earn there title. Going through an extensive background investigation and hiring process. Attending a full post peace officer academy. Training as a recruit and enduring the pain, sweat, tears of a real recruit. Make it through probation. Write real criminal reports and make real arrest. Leosec guards call the real police to handle the guards citizens arrest and the police come to clean up there mess. I wouldn’t rely on a Leosec guard if I needed help. All they care about is writing HOA fines that they do not know how to enforce or are not properly trained to do so. I give them one star because they are incompetent and have a terrible attitude. If you have a problem with one of the guards they will try to cover for each other and will not notify there’s supervisors of incidents that will make them look bad. Don’t rely on these guards. Call the police or sheriffs department if you have an emergency or need help. Leosec guards will not call the police if it involves them and they instigated a problem. Instead of paying HOA dues to hire security guards and keep its residents somewhat safe/​protected, Leosec guards walk around treating the community like inmates. Miraleste canyon estate condo community is starting to feel more like a prison than a gated community. Leosec looks like they hired felons straight out of jail. The guards are not well groomed and not present themselves professionally. Showing off the tattoo sleeves on there arms and neck. Letting the hair, beards and mustaches growing out of control like they live in the forest and haven’t seen a shower in days. Don’t hire these tools, better off saving your money for a security alarm system, guard dog, firearm, or calling the cops for help. Leosec guards are worthless waste of money. There incompetent rejects who could not get hired by law enforcement agencies because of past criminal background, education, or personal issues.

Over the past ten months, I’ve been issued over $ 3,000 in fines from Leo Sec Security within my own community town home…
This summer, Leo Sec Security guard actually called the LAPD on me after I asked him to please make a report regarding the pine needles that posed a fire hazard on the sub-​roof of bldg #352.
Amazingly, they also refused to make a report regarding the passive aggressive behaviors of the office staff that also threatened to call the police on me after I asked them about the new rules regarding water restrictions…
They also refused to make a report that documented the facts regard the contractor that threatened me in my community only to have the board of directors call the police on me, again…
The security also refused to make a report regarding the board of directors behaviors, or themselves when they called the police on me… after I again only asked the security guard to please make a report regarding the pine needles that had accumulated on the sub-​roof of bldg#352…
Leo Sec Security supports the board of directors by harassing the residents with fines to create petty cash… Even the resident’s children are issued fines for using a Noodle in the pool… or for leaving a cup of coffee on their balcony when they walked inside the house.
Three different security companies were fired and hired within a six month time span… until the board of directors found Leo Sec Security… to do his dirty work of retaliating against the residents with $ 3,000 of contrived fines… only as a means to reappoint the same board members that favor illegal hiring to create over priced nepotism that offers no transparency beyond passive aggressive office staff and gardeners that retaliate against residents by butchering our trees and bushes to create less privacy and more exposure to the sunlight in the heat of summer.
Leo Sec Security supports the quorum by harassing the residents… that ask questions regarding the cost of nepotistic hiring of family and friends… which allows the board of directors to continue their historic nepotistic hiring that creates a conflict of interest that’s designed to illegally hiring friends without resident approval.
Instead, they issued their friend opportunity of $ 78,000 salary, embezzlement of $ 170,000 along with a $ 7,000 severance check and an opportunity to file lawsuit after he was discovered embezzling because the board of directors never followed through with asking his friend to sign the waiver… Yet, this was the stipulation in which this check was to be issued… None the less, he still issued his friend with a $ 7,000 severance check without following the agenda of getting his friend to sign the waiver before issuing his friend with the $ 7,000 severance check… which conveniently allowed his friend to retain an attorney to fabricate litigation against the same board member that discovered their illegally hired friend embezzled our money because the board of directors turned a blind eye to the unauthorized hiring of Los Gatos, Inc. Then, they issued him an additional $ 7,000 and an additional $ 150,000 for a contrived settlement during a mediation that favored his illegally hired friend that was caught embezzling money. Lastly, the board of directors utilized the community newsletter to slander the board member and ruin his reputation because he failed to mention that it was his negligence that caused the $ 150,000 settlement… Therefore, in one year, they spent $ 670,000 and the fence they spent $ 170,000 to fix has fallen down and is still in disrepair. However, the fence could have been fixed professionally for only $ 13,000. Instead, the tree trimmers from Los Gatos, Inc. installed only a 10″ extension around Pool#2 which has since fallen off… So, how much money will the residents finally end up paying to fix the fence?
