Delicious Pizza! While visiting the area, we stopped in on a Saturday. He advertises above the door«The Best Pizza In San Pedro,» so we had to try it. The fella was very kind, the pizza was delivered to our table quickly, and quite tasty! On Sunday, we returned, and brought a few people with us. This time, pizza and sandwiches, also very, very delicious. There’s 15 pizza joints within 10 blocks. Do yourself a favor… try Pizza Express. You won’t be disappointed.

The pizza is delicious About $ 7.50 for a large pizza I would have given it 5 stars but this place needs to be cleaner and they take too long for the pizza

My first visit here, and this place is a joke. I ordered a Large half jalapeño, half cheese… they gave me half sausage, half cheese… I returned it and said I wanted half jalapeño, half cheese. They cook another pizza and give me half jalapeño half sausage. I return that and finally they just press jalapeños on a cheese pizza that was already made and old. By this time, its been 40 minutes… I ask for a side of marinara and they try charging me for it… This place is a joke. I’d give it 1 star, but it was cheap.

I am so happy with the quality and work of this pizza place! I might just say the best in town. The owner is very friendly, great guy! The first time I tried the pizza from this place I was in love, delicious, amazing! They pizza and other plates are made right in front of you as soon as you order it. Great place!!!

Didn’t try their pizza but ordered the cheese and za’tar mnaeesh(non-Arabic speakers usually call them«Lebanese pizza») and they were great. The dough, the most important part, was excellent! I am def coming back for more! I just went there on 1÷22÷14 and he said they no longer make tabouli. :/

Decided to grab the $ 5 pizza for dinner. All the time we have lived in Pedro and drove by pizza express and never stopped. I’m glad we tried it now. We ordered 2 pizzas a pepperoni and a sausage with some wings. Everything was really yummy. The pizza is not overly greasy, usually I blot the pizza to soak up some grease but not this one. The wings were good and spicy like I like em! For $ 5 a pizza not bad at all.

I’m voting for the falafel. In fact, I must confess to never trying their pizza because I only come here for the Lebanese food. Falafel; so exciting to find it done right and done right right here. Ok, next time I’ll try the pizza and see if it lives up to all the great reviews. PS. there’s a service charge to use a credit card.

This place is my fav place for pizza around here that I’ve tried so far. If u like Costco pizza then you’ll love this place too. The bread isn’t too thick or thin and it’s not saturated in grease. Sauce is good. Cheese is good. In a perfect world if no one was home to watch me, I would eat a large in one sitting :) We’ve ordered from this place about 4 – 5 times now and each time the service has been really friendly and the pizza is consistently exactly how I like it. Excited for morning pizza :)

We love this place — They do more than pizza, but Pizza is all we get there, which shoudl say a lot becuase one type of food that is up in my favorites is Mediterranean, so thsi place has hummus and tabouli, I really enjoy a good tabouli, hummus not so much, but I have never tasted it here because the pizza is soooo good, thats what we get. Of course it helps that they have a Large peperroni or Large cheese for 5.99, these are not mini large’s they are large larges. This is apparety family business and I assume the two young ladies that work there are daughters of the owners? Either way very friendly people excellent pizza,(I will try the tabouli there some day and update my review) This is some of the best pizza in Pedro. Try it you’ll like it. I do recommend you do this as take out, mainly because I live in Pedro, and on Gaffey you get all kinds of people, plus they only have three tables inside.

San Pedro is flooded with so many pizza places, and all of them are great, so if you’re a new player in this market you gotta do something to stand out. Pizza Express understands this. They’ve got 2 things that set them apart: 1) They have the best deals in town and 2) Lebanese food, particularly their tabouleh. Their Lebanese offerings may not be at the same level as crosstown Lebanese maven Nazelie’s, but they’re still mighty fine. And then there’s the tabouleh. Some people consider tabouleh to be a salad. That’s wrong. It’s the world’s greatest pizza condiment — better than ranch, marinara, red pepper, parmesan, everything! Add spoonfuls of their fresh, tangy tabouleh on top of any pizza and watch how it brings everything to life. It’s healthy and it works with every kind of pizza. I used to hate pinneapple on pizza until I tried a slice with tabouleh. The flavors simply work together so beautifully! There you have it, another great pizza place in San Pedro.

Just moved to San Pedro, and I am a person who LOVES pizza! Havn’t had a chance to try to much of their food but the pizza was really good! I ate all but 3 slices which were munched up by my daughter and GF’s friend. We got spaghetti which my GF did not like but hey the garlic bread was nummy. I am excited that they have falafel and other things as well! I will be back! Plus the price is legit!

I was looking around the local businesses in my area, San Pedro, and just thought I’d check out the closest pizza places, since I hadn’t had pizza in quite a while. For me, I like a pizza that is a little dry with just a smigde of grease dripping of the tip, kind of like Costco. I don’t like it when the tomato sauce is watery and the cheese slides off the bread… like I said, a bit dry. I couldn’t have asked for a better pizza with a great price to boot. Though I wanted to finish the pizza with my gf, I was able to save one piece for breakfast… nothing better than cold pizza in the morning… MMMMM-good. Anyway, will definitely order from Pizza Express again. keep up the good work.

I’m a gal that loves to save money & when it comes to pizza I only go with either cosco or this pizza. Check the place out it was my first time going here & the man behind the counter made me feel like family. He even gave me a yummy salade on the house. I ordered chicken wings & a large pizza with beacon & jalapenos… good place to go. Good service.

Ok so I’m in love with this hole in the wall pizza shop. The owner is a sweet, older greek guy that loves to cook and talk you up for sure. You can see the greek influence in the menu and you can tell the pride as soon as you walk in. Prices are awesome and the grub is an A+ especially for price point. I’m definitely a lifer!

Great pizza at a great price! The other more expensive pizza places around are okay, but if ever I get to choose, I go to Pizza Express! They really are the best pizza in San Pedro

Succumbing to economic pressures but not doing the consumer any favors. The large, one-topping pizzas are now $ 5.99.

The Mediterranean and Lebanese specialities that Pizza Express has been adding are amazing. The hummus is among the best I’ve ever had, with just the right hit of garlic and perfect amount of olive oil. Portion size is good. The hummus plate includes salad. They also make mana’eesh, which is zaatar, a blend of thyme and sesame seed, with olive oil spread on pizza dough. It’s so good and you can have onion, tomato, and/or cheese added. And the falafel and tabbouli are up there with the best, as well. We had them cater an event and for a couple hundred bucks we had a feast for scores of people. Great value. We like to support family businesses, and this is one. But it almost goes without saying that anyfamily business worth supporting has to provide a good product. Pizza Express fills the bill. You can meet the mom who makes the Mediterranean specialities and tell her how good they are. Oh, and even as they’ve added the Mediterranean items to the menu, they still make very good pizzas and sandwiches.

Although my favorite pizza joint in town is Bonello’s, you cant beat the 5 buck large pizza and it doesn’t taste bad either, you do however need to eat it hot(its not a good cold pizza) — this is also good if you have a party. had a Superbowl party and got 4 pizzas for 22 bucks(tax included) to throw into the mix– not bad. but me being someone who can cook a mean NY pizza at home they get three stars(ya I’m comparing mine to theirs)

For $ 5, it’s a good deal. Pay in cash so you don’t get charged a dollar for paying with a card. Way better than that dry Little Caesar pizza, PIZZAEXPRESS serves their pizza fresh. Next time you are in the mood for a $ 5 pizza, hit Pizza Express.
