I have had a wonderful experience with most of the doctors here, save one. My kids several times now needed same day appointments, and we got stuck with Dr. Goffman (not sure of spelling). Her bedside manner was terrible, she is pushy and not comforting at all to little kids. My daugher had an ear infection, but when examining (I should say digging into her ear with a pointy wand) her uninfected ear, it really hurt and my daughter cried out. The doctor kept telling me it should not hurt, and acted like she was faking. It really put me off as my daughter is not a liar and is very senstive to pain, but she woudnt let it go, telling me several times before I left she did not hurt her.
She also prescribed ear drops, which after going to 4 different pharamcies who did not have it, I learned it was NOT generic — so instead of paying $ 10 I paid $ 50. How inconsiderate of her, to not even metion it. I trust she had a good reason for chosing that, but at least tell me!
I cant believe I am only writing about a bad experience, but truly everyone here is great EXCEPT Goffman — please avoid her at all costs unless its an utter emergency.
I give the rest of this practice the highest marks — I giver her 2 starts tops.
