Excellent service, knowledgeable, friendly, and just all around very helpful. I was here for orthotics for my running shoes and received them quickly, with very personalized attention to my needs. Only deducted a star for location … wish they were in SF!

I have Morton’s neuroma in both feet. After experiencing nothing but frustration with ineffective orthotic shoe inserts from podiatrists, I went to see an orthopedic surgeon who referred me to John Allen. John spent an hour examining my feet and gait, made molds of both feet, and made new shoe inserts that worked. No more pain! Thank you John Allen. Also I would like to comment on the bad review by the person who said devices can be found much cheaper online. When you go to John, you are paying for his time and his substantial skill in fitting orthopedic devices to you. You are not just paying for the devices.

What a rip off this place is!!!
Our doctor’s office sent us there to pick up a support that would be needed after surgery. Allen Orthopedic sold us a back support corset and charged our insurance company about $ 375. Our insurance company was only willing to pay a portion, leaving us with a bill $ 147 to pay out of pocket.
I just went online and was floored to see that MANY places sell the exact same item for $ 80 or less.
