I earned a Masters degree in Humanities at Dominican. One of the best parts of my experience was the library and its staff… It’s still one of my favorite places to go in Marin when you want a quiet, bucolic place to contemplate the higher issues of life.

This is one of the most versatile libraries I have ever seen. Other than being one of the nicest buildings on the Dominican campus, it is also one of the most useful places to be at if you attend school here or are affiliated with the school. They have tons of books, encyclopedias, video tapes, magazines, and even, my favorite part, comic books. They also provide internet. The only con, in my honest opinion, is that the wifi in the library area is weirdly not as strong than in other areas around the school. It could be due to the massive amount of people using the wifi in that condensed area though. Recently, Dominican added a social part of the library where students can lounge around and read magazines. They also added a café outside dubbed«Amanda’s Coffee Cart» or «Chilly’s on the Go.» They serve coffee and pastries until about 2pm! Check out this library if you’re around the area. You won’t be disappointed!

A quaint library hidden in the hills of San Rafael. It has good sized academic collection focusing on the various majors offered at Dominican University of California. It is surrounded by the beautiful, well groomed outdoor scenery of the university and is located in the heart of the campus. It is opened to the public, for those who have a library card from anywhere in Marin County. Staffed by helpful and friendly librarians, library staff and student workers.
